This is the most disrespectful game I've seen in my entire life

I've thought about shojin pyke for a while because it gives close to 90 ad and makes him more slippery while low and gives cdr. Glad to see it played.

Im wheezing the whole enemy team was trying so hard and Zwag was just sidestepping everything and turning every engage with ease

I was getting tilted on behalf of the enemy team lol. The number of times he got away with 1hp

in another parallel universe, this channel is named Zwag Pyke

Very educational content, since watching Zwag I too have been missing all my Cannons

Now that you did this, I actually wonder how a Heartsteel Pyke would work with infinitely scaling AD

The problem is that Heartsteel's main appeal is the proc scales off of max HP, but Pyke's HP is hard capped so it's a flat scaling, whereas on other champs it scales exponentially. You only get about 2 AD per proc

@@IIIlIl you wouldn't even get that, like it would be really pathetic numbers. Assume you get it at level 5, you're getting 6 hp per proc, which isn't even 0.5 AD. Level 10 you're up to 9 hp per proc, level 18 you're hitting a grand total of 15 health for 1 AD per proc

Except it didnt work? Still squishy, no damage (for having 14 kills), just useless overall. Even a soraka would be scarier if she had 14kills. Just proves again that pyke is overnerfed and locked into 1 build path.

Did the math on steraks, it gives 132 AD for Pyke at level 18

@@suhnshaiene yep. its a fun champ, but it's honestly not even viable. blitz and tresh are better at the same job. The only niche real usage at the moment, is if the team is full tank and mostly AP. I.E.: Malph top, amumu JG, swain mid. Then pyke is a perfect pick.

I would love to see ypu playing burst seraphine with first strike and ludens into litchbane. Its actually so much fun seeing the passive stacked auto attack bursting a squishy to half health

Omg the early triple kill bot lane gank was clean!!! Btw Goredrinker add 75hp per Legendary item and I think that Black Cleaver could be really sweet too if you are running the Domination rune for the attack speed (which i think you did here). Anyways... nice video Zwag! :3

I like this build, and I loved the video personally. But as a Fellow Pyke mid enjoyer, let me share my oppinion. I have played Pyke top/mid a few times (maybe 20 games top and around 15 mid), but in previus patches. The set up I liked the most, was: Runes: Hail of bladed Sudden impact Rellentless or Ultimate hunter Turret demolish Over growth And I like to build: BOTRK-Goredrinker-Titanic-Edge of night - Black Clever And I always go CD boots. Concepts: HOB+BOTRK+Clever= Big burst on basicly everyone, so your team can shred the frontline with you, so you can get your R reset on anyone. Titanic+Gore/Relenless+Demolish= Instant wave clear, so you can roam or threaten taking a plate. Edge+Gore-E= Easy dive on backline. Relentless+W = Roam Ultihinter + R + Titanic = Teamfight I hope you guys try this build out :-)

the plays are insane

hull breaker still secretly broken on pyke :3 nearly 90 ad on top of the resistances when solo, its on par with stuff like bloodthirster or ravenous for AD >:3 unfortunately the way heartsteel works it doesnt function on pyke, each stack gives minimum bonus forever so you get like 1 ad per stack at 30s a stack per champ :< similarly titanic gains nothing because bonus hp is seen as 0

yeah I just did the math for it to make sure I could tell people exactly why it's going to be trolling to do, heartsteel literally only gives 1 AD on pyke per stack at the last levels, all the way down to 0.5 per stack at level 5

I’d like to see a bel veth video where you just steamroll the enemy team

I feel like pyke is perfect for items like deadman’s and spirit visage, raw def stat and ad from the hp

Hate me or not but i really like fimbulwinter hullbreaker combination. Gives you 120 ad, like 300 shield every Q or E and absurd amount of resistances. For me its optimal for flanking backlines and ones you get the resets going, the teamfight is over anyways. Else i can push sides and contest 1v1 like very good

AD increases gray health, Lethality increases the healing from gray health, and HP increases AD. This champ has all kinds of quirks.

This strategy will boost your true damage, but not necessarily your physical damage as much as lethality. It depends.

heartsteel has 800 hp raw stat that would be converted into 57 ad . that is just 3 ad less than stridebreaker but you should get every heartsteel proc something like 20-35 stacks that would be 1-2 ad ever proc for sure . most games zwag your able to get 600-900 stacks in your videos so that would be 42-64 extra ad . so in total you get 99-121 ad only of that one item

It was one of the main reasons I wanted to play Pyke when he first came out (one K in Haka, very close)

huh maybe you dont need lethality for a true damage execute after all

I always wondered why ppl refuse to play bruiser items on Pyke. The Ad scaling on some items isn’t to bad to not be considered usable. Also if you want to try something stupid go Eclipse Fimbulwinter with shieldbash and revitalize. Those 500 + shields after every Q and E is quite funny.

At 25:54, she wasn't in the execute range when the ult hit but she still died. At 28:29, she was in the execute range but didn't die. I think that's because the game considers their HP when the X appears on the ground, not when it hits them.

The execute range includes all the x's directions, not only the center. Also, the animation from the x is smaller than the execute zone (fixed with proyect pyke).

Not true, u can be in range and heal during the x animation and not get executed

fun fact about pyke Q: it widens at the end of it's flight if it hasn't hooked anything yet, and hooks the closest thing, basically extending the hitbox

Day 8 of asking for full attack speed + Quickblades Blitzcrank. Full Attack Speed makes your ult passive zap them to death while with quickblades you also have basically no cooldowns on E and make them bounce like a fluffy

Does Titanic Hydra stack with Pyke's effect?

I haven't tried it but logically: pyke can't have bonus hp Titanic scales of bonus hp Therefore, titanic will only give the 30 base ad and none from passive.
