Thanks brother as always and congrats to Bryanna Cote. Glad she was able to get over the hump after bowling so well the last 4 to 5 events. Well deserved and she bowled awesomely. Taking advantage of every mistake her opponents made. That #1 stop has been proving to very difficult lately with an exception of Breonna Kelmer.

I was there live. I wasn't there in the crowd but I was behind the curtain but watching by Dave & CDB & the monitors. My heart hurts for Dmac in that final game. After the First one in the 5th I said "Not Again" because I had flashbacks to both This year's Queens & the 2018 Us Open. Once it happened in the 7th, I stopped watching grabbed my Stuff & walked to the other side of the Center & I heard the crowd shock when it happened again in the 8th & I wanted to throw up when I saw it was another Pocket 7-10.

These are some of the best female bowlers in the world, and at that level you have to make adjustments, quickly and decisively. Some bowlers start moving on the lanes even when they are still striking because they can tell that the transition is coming and they have to stay ahead of it. Dmac made zero adjustments other than one ball switch. She stayed on that exact same line, which given her ref rate and lane conditions, was just too far left. She should have gone to a ball that had more back end snap, or just moved right and took a more direct angle. When you leave Three 7-10's, it's not bad luck. In my mind, if you leave a ring 10 or 9, that's bad luck. If you leave a flat 10, it's on you to make an adjustment. Dmac left three 7-10's. That means she was bowling with her brain turned off. She's way better than that.

CBS Sports Network does it really good on the telecast since I watch bowling back in 1999 & Bryant Park hosted the PBA event here in in New York City. Especially I bowled with Dasha Kovalova during the Pro-Am event on June 6, 2022. Dasha saw me throwing strikes & spare shots on lane 29 & 30 & she knows me well. Maple Lanes oil them like it was a tougher pattern & I had to carry the pocket shots like a pro.

Was Danielle unlucky to get THREE 7-10 splits? Sure. But in her entire game her ball was just struggling to get back into the pocket with any power. She was playing way too far left. She is a very smooth and consistent bowler, but the balls she throws rarely have the kind of drastic snap at the end which would justify her playing that far left. Even the Gem, which hooks a mile, couldn't get back into the pocket with enough power to take out the flat 10. She should have moved a lot right, near where Cote or O'Keefe were playing. The only female bowlers who could stand where Danielle stood and played the line she tried to play are Darya Pajuk and maybe Verity Crawley. They have the rev rate which Danielle doesn't have.

It wasn’t even necessarily about her being to far left (although I agree she was) but her ball motion was terrible and her gem wouldn’t hook back because it was actually to strong and was rolling out which is why it was dying and leaving 7-10’s

@@kylewarden6074 At that level of bowling, where they are literally the best female bowlers on the planet, many times a match is won or lost on who can make the best adjustments when things aren't going well. Danielle is a fabulous bowler and usually makes the right read to give herself the best chance to strike. On this day she just seemed fixated on playing the line she chose, and never made an adjusting move or ball change when what she was doing was not working. Danielle’s coaches need an earful. She’s walking away from her swing and her feet get farther apart the closer she gets to foul line. She’s having to come across her body with her throw arm to keep the ball on line so her balance is shit and her accuracy drops. She makes every damn show but should have 10-15 more wins than she does. Shot is too forced she may look well balanced but the ball hits like a marshmallow hence the 7-10 factory. Couple tweaks and she wins every week.

@@ibpsupplyman So she is supposed to be fake to appease the masses, so then everyone can trash her for being fake and not real? Diana needs to be herself. Besides, considering Diana is one of ten women in history to win multiple USBC Queens titles dating back to 1961, I think she is doing just fine.

@@gunner-qf9eh Your NOT grasping it bud. EVERYTHING Diana does is thought out, and she does it TO ATTRACT ATTENTION. Have you ever visited her Media Accounts ? Have you ever looked at her Photo Portfolio ? Have you ever watched her videos, read her blogs, looked at her pics, talked to her ????? No one doubts her bowling ability. She ENHANCES it by doing what she does ..... and people "remember" it. It's ALL about image .... and some people DO IT better than others .... BUT they DO IT to further the image that they perceive themselves to be ........ and THAT is what makes them unique. GET IT NOW ?????

Nice to not have to watch any bowler using the silly and completely unnatural two hand delivery.
