mein speed war krass, leider beim halsen den ganzen vorsprumg wieder verloren. krasse dichte zwischen Platz 4 und 35! naechstes mal mit halsen training vorab, dann sollte es passen :)

Andy Laufer beim Speed bin ich mir sicher, dass der passt! Aber die Halsen gehören ja auch zum Rennen. Wie sieht es denn sonst mit der physischen Anstrengung aus? Wenn man nicht nur 5. im ersten Lauf wird muss man ja auch etwas Fitness mitbringen. Was machst du da? Oder reicht es mit dem Rauchen aufzuhören? 😉 Danke für die Antwort!

rauchen tut da niemand mehr. an der kondition muss man auch arbeiten. meine Fitness reicht jedenfalls nicht :)

golden footage! we need to see more videos like this . i also enjoy the videos you embed your speed in it . i am a slalom addict myself . but i cant pass 58 km/h(15-20knots wind flat water) . do you mind if i asked a couple of questions ? 1- what is your height weight ? 2- do you take out all wrinkles on your sails inluding top battens ? (i have the evox and jp's ) 3-i am stuck i have gazillion of questions . these 2 are for starter if you dont mind .

58 km/h in 15/20 kts of wind is actually super fast, aim for stronger winds if you want to get past that! Also try and get a bit shorter harness lines and check your fin size

Hi Andy! Great footage! You are the only one to share THIS kind of feeling from within the race. BTW: Just participating in all events would earn you 20 places (on par with Wojtek) and planing through all gybes would let you advance another 5 (Sebastian, Gonzalo!?). That would mean position 25 overall!! Go get them!!!

why are you racing on jp race board and np rs racing sail in 2019 season? is this gear better than falcon race board and ns warp sail? how do you you feel new racing gear of 2019?

For the diszipline Speed you need to have the best. Like in Formula 1. The combi JP/NP is right now by far the fastest combi you can get on the market. I did not even test different masts and was one of the fastest. Still got to work on the jibes though :)

What a crash! I think i saw ARU in that heat!

Amazing how fast you go and fall without problem! I shiver at the thought of falling at that speed. How do you manage falling, do you try to eject yourself from the rig? When you feel like you will fall do you unhook? I have read some ware that you should hold on to the boom but at this speed it looks like you would go trough the board. Awesome videos!

I'm a pretty good surfer, and I go around 50 km/h, not as hard as he goes, but for some reason when you fall it doesn't hurt as much as you would think. When fall I think like ahh I'm going to die, but when you hit the water and you don't hit the boom with your ribs it doesn't really hurt very much

ungeschminkt. grandios. in diesen Bedingungen eine saubere Halse zu zirkeln. Das ist wirklich eine Kunst. Ich war noch nie auf Fuerte. Wieviele BFT hatte es bei den Videos? Ist der Wind da arg böig? Wieviel qm bist du gefahren?

Hallo Andy, danke für die info. Ich benutze eine polar m400 aber die speedmessund so verzögert. Muss ewig auf topspeed sein damit dieser registriert wird. Bist du mit deiner uhr zufrieden? Haut die speedmessung ohne Verzögerung hin? Lg Martin

Gepflegt abgewatscht werden aber trotzdem Spaß gehabt? Oder wie erklärt sich dein Dauergrinsen? Coole Nummer! Mittendrin statt nur dabei!

01:53 vs 02:08 shows the problem. you are the fastest between gybes, but your board goes submarine when u shift the sail, you lose all your speed and any progress you did since the last gybe. maye sacrifice some speed for a bigger board do keep more speed in gybes?

it was almost impossible to sail on the 1st days. So hard to jibe. Need to practice a lot. lost all on the jibes. next year :)
