The Dark Drone is the best at fighting groups, especially during team fights. I heavily disagree with it being the worst. There's a reason why a lot of people like using this ability and consider the red artichoke the worst despite the Dark Drone having lower DPS.

⁠@@t_piigIt’s enough. The splash is very generous so you can easily attack from cover so they can’t even shoot you down or you can just bombard a packed objective during a big push

@@t_piig You're still hitting groups WITH the primary and it discourages them to not bunch up together. Also, what if the corn strike is on cool down? Thought of that? The Garlic drone's primary is best against high HP SINGLE targets but is by no means better at crowd control. Just because the DPS isn't as good as Garlic drone doesn't mean it's bad. That's honestly a very limiting mindset. Also as said by another reply, Splash damage goes behind cover and the projectiles make it easier to actually land shots while they're moving. Unless you're targeting Super Brains or All Stars, the damage from Dark Drone's primary is enough to make work of most of the zombies. At this point it just comes down to the situation and preference. Garlic Drone is better at picking off individual zombies but Dark Drone is better at crowd control and group settings. Both airstrikes still suck when compared to parrots though.

Did you know dark garlic takes itself out with it's splash?

The dark drone doesn't look that bad tho specially bcs it has splash. I could see myself using it pretty often.

That's cause it isn't bad, its just his opinion, in my personal experience i can shoot red artichoke as easy as normal garlics, but with dark garlic you may be trying to shoot it, but if you fail, or if you were already low on hp, escaping from it will be hard as they can chase you without even aiming perfectly cause of splash

Dark garlic drone isn't bad because the regular garlic drone might be harder to aim with for some people and the dark garlic drone is WAY more effective against moving targets don't let dps fool you because landing damage is always better than barely being able to hit your enemy to even deal damage in the first place

I think its better over the normal one bcs of the fast strike ability.

The thing with the dark drone to me is that it's considerably lower reward but insanely lower risk, you can attack from so much farther away and still deal half decent damage so you can consistently deal chip damage from afar while actually getting kills with the corn strike. I agree mormal drone is better but i dont think it's that bad

Also, i can't help but notice that the normal garlic drone has the WORST AIR STRIKE IN THE GAME, i mean, the corn comes down REALLY SLOW, AND they explode one at a time, if you compare this air strike to both of the artichokes, it is evident that both of the artichokes severely outclass the normal garlic drone due to having more accurate air strikes. Though, the parrot still has the best air strike.

the dark garlics primary is mid but it does have the best corn strike ability out of all the drones, the other drones excel at single target attacks where as the dark garlic is meant to be the AoE drone meant to clear out groups of players (esp camping ones with 1 or more scientists pocket healing them) as it's drone strike is even better then the regular drones corn strike then you can use the primary to finish off any one that survives your corn strike, depending on the situation the dark garlic can actually be the best drone in the game as the main way to use it is to just hide until u get your corn strike then sneak out and corn strike a group of people which is a very good strat when the enemy team has 1 or more good players who quickly/instantly shoot a drone down as soon as the drones out in the open in which case the dark garlics superior corn strike is a better fit for that particular match then the other drones who do most of there damage/vanquishing with there primary but keep getting shoot down before they can do anything bc of those good players on the zombie team.

I 100% agree with the list, THOUGH i do think that dark garlic is alright. In suburbination (i think?) its splash can be pretty good, and theres alot of people who dont look for drones.

Best artichoke is Green artichoke Drone

The dark garlic is personally my favourite in turf.

Fun fact: red Arichoke has the most dps

I played a lot of cactus and from my experience green artichoke with its single corn and more hp has gotten me more kills than any other plant drone

I disagree. I usually get annoyed when a dark garlic drone is up me and my team, especially near an engineer teleporter.

Maybe use scripts next time? This seems so on the spot thinking and just kinda boring ngl oh and the dark garlic is really good in turf due to splash and the zombies are more grouped up, thats why people like it
