Guard shrooms are game changer. The bowling bulbs- PPM- turnips strat is pretty much the same as before but with guard shroom it's many times stronger. Notice that bowling bulbs only get 30% more damage increase on planfood when boosted with guard shrooms because it shoots once then get boosted again and shoot 3 more shots. So you only get 1 more shot but what makes the whole strat more powerful is guard shrooms make PPM spawn twice on plant food. You can almost completely cover the whole map with mines thanks to guard shrooms.

If any shovel zombie appears the last strategy is definitely not working :/

The last strategy is just to focus on attacking the zomboss as much as possible so we don't really care much about excavator. But if you still want to defeat him, use guard shoom

What to do against the shovel zombies with the last strategy? One time I had 10m but now the shovels destroyed almost every mega-mg I had :/

Use guard shroom. He can spawn some mini shroom which have the ability to eat zombies like chomper
