We shouldn't use acid in PVC pipes. It will damage the pipes. Also, acid will cause skin infections.

Hello Sir, If you are using Sulphuric Acid for removing lime salt deposit from PVC pipe .. then these pipes are connected with PVC bondig solution... will Sulphuric will not remove or weaken the bondin PVC connection, if so then water will start seeping in the PVC pipes concealed walls, and the Tap and fittings will also get affected by the Sulphuric acid.

Acid is dil sulphuric Acid. You have to use as required for a house with 5 rooms 2 ltr enough. If it exceed will affect the joints.
