Good ideea. I would put the lower part in the midle (so it forms a T instead of an L). Also for better suport try replacing pvc with metal pipes and connectors.

I built it, it shattered. One of the pvc tees actually exploded and a piece cut my ankle. There is no front back support.

Great. i tried but the 2x 32cm tubes are still flexible when the bike is mounted on top (15kg). Im wondering if i fill it in the bottom tubes with cement, if they would stop moving...

I might have the right size, have to double-check what I have crossing my fingers.

this is great if you just happen to have extra PVC lying around, but I wouldn't go out to purchase it just to make a bike stand. That look like about $40 worth, but you could buy a bike stand on Amazon for $20. Although this has good construction and probably lighter than anything you could buy for equivalent price.

Also, this design uses the bottom chain stays (frame) to support the bike instead of the axle nuts. Much more universal design fit.

Debes subir y montar la bicicleta. Así demuestras que aguanta x lo menos tu peso . Fíjate que cuando mueves el pedal , se mueve la estructura ,no se ve confiable y que aguante .

I'd suggest, rather than a single upright each side, use 2 to make a triangle each side and longer base lengths

@@B_COOPER idk if you're a bot or something, but look at the date of the video. At that point here in Chile during the pandemic, we didn't have stock of any "trainers", and the one we had, were like 600% overpriced, and sorry for not having the money to buy one, sorry, it's my fault i guess?

Exacto debes llenar los tubos con mezcla de arena y cemento así aguanta sino no sirve para montarse en ella para arreglos solamente si lavar cadena llantas y otras cositad

El modelo parece práctico pero se ve muy inestable. En ningún momento te sentaste en la bici. Creo que ya con el peso de tu cuerpo se hubiera dañado todo.
