Yes, that saved me some money. It is very disappointing because DaYan is capable of making excellent puzzles.

Wow, there are many new cubes in 2023. I like the crazy crystal megaminx and the circular 5x5, although I have never played crazy cubes before 🥰

Hey Pete! I'm glad to see another video from you. For the Sudoku 3x3, all of my magnets are in place for mine so I think you got unlucky with the missing magnets. You should try the sudoku 2x2, It's not as hard as the 3x3 but the approach is a little different when it comes to parity. I have both the stickered and stickerless limcube skewb. The stickered one looks nicer in my opinion, however the stickerless one has internal corners you have to solve for as well, you should definitely check it out as well. I wish to get the 3x3 and 4x4 son-mum cube some time soon. I have a circular 5x5 and one thing I noticed is that any inner circle pieces that are opposite each other are always opposite each other. So after a scramble, a green piece inside the circle will always be opposite a blue piece and same with the other colors. Also, the 4 edges around the centers and the edges outward from those are trivial! They don't effect each other, you can get a cross on all 5 sides so long as your centers don't accidentally move (kinda like mine...). Great video and I hope to see more like this next year!

Interesting point about the stickerless LimCube Fission Skewb. The YuXin Sliding Sudoku 2x2 would definitely change my approach, since I rely so heavily on using centre rotations on the 3-layer version.

Hi Pete, Since you already own a SengSo Circular 5x5 v4, I suggest not missing out on the SengSo Crazy 4x4 v2 or v3. They are basically a Circular 5x5 combined with a Crazy 2x2. Although the outer layers function the same way as on MF8+Dayan Crazy 4x4, the inner layers function as on Crazy 2x2. This makes the solving process way more involved and challenging compared to the SengSo 5x5 (and completely different to the MF8+Dayan 4x4). In SengSo 4x4 v3, you also have to solve small circular pieces, which do not align on their own like in the MF8+Dayan. Moreover, solving them may impact other stages of the solve, thus not all strategies of the SengSo 4x4 v2 will work on the 4x4 v3, which makes them different enough.

Also, if you enjoy Rua, you may like MF8 Doderhombus Plus. It has all of the piece types available in Curvy Copter III and adds some extra cuts which make it essentially a Curvy Copter III Plus in the shape of a rhombic dodecahedron. Jumbling on this puzzle is just insane.

Thanks for that info. I had wondered if the SengSo 4x4 would be worthwhile since I have two of the MF8+Dayan 4x4 variants. I look forward to trying out the SengSo.

My 3x3 sliding puzzle came with all the magnets, however, the center piece came in a regular piece and it was impossible to remove it normally. (I had to remove the center cap. I reported to the store and they sent me a correct one.
