Nice puzzles. You have a nice collection. Those cute little animals in the corner on the Bison Range land puzzle are Prairie Dogs (not related to dogs).

I got a bunch of the crafthub puzzles too. I went A3, they are definitely not the paper sizes. But closish. I enjoyed them anyway. Although the laquer smell could pass you out 😂

Your trip was in Vegas? That's where I am! Crazy that I just randomly clicked on this video and you visited my area. So did you go to the Dollar Tree across from the Silverton? Then the goodwill on Las Vegas Boulevard near the outlet mall would be my guess?

What a coincidence! Yes, we went to the Dollar Tree at the Blue Diamond Rd! ^^ I wanted to try the Hawaiian BBQ and was quite happy that there was a Dollar Tree aswell. The Goodwill wasn't the one on the Boulevard. We went to K1 that day, it was near that.. Sahara Ave I think.. So how is it to live there? Are the locals avoiding the Strip or are you going there sometimes?

@@sueburgundypuzzleAwww, the one at the former WOW! building (a huge electronics store when I first moved here in the late 90's...the building is still really tall, but I have no idea what it is now) next door to habitat for humanity. I usually go to that one when my Mom visits and maybe once or twice a year outside of that. I don't particularly care for Vegas. It is not my scene. EVERYTHING they build caters to tourism so it's all clustered in the same mess instead of spreading out towards areas with easier abilities to come and go...like our hockey team, mostly attracts locals, they still play in the middle of a bunch of hotels right there on the strip. And now, no longer having free parking options most places, it's too expensive. We don't exactly budget $100's of dollars just to park our cars. It feels like going to a venue when we're out of town just to do things here most of the time with having to budget for every little thing that used to be free. Anyway, I'm of Irish descent, so this is not the climate for me. It gets way too hot in the Summer. If it weren't for the heat, I wouldn't mind living here so much. We're probably the best demographic to live here as gambling, drinking, partying, etc are not our vices so I don't have to worry too much about those things. I'm from the Seattle area, originally, where everything is a drive to get to, separated by bodies of water, lots of little islands, etc.. Las Vegas has a smaller city feel to it even as we continue to grow because it's all relatively connected. It means the things I do enjoy (like circling the whole city to go thrifting) aren't as challenging to do in a few hours compared to larger big cities. It is becoming more challenging as we are growing beyond the capacity of our existing freeway systems, which means they're constantly being closed and expanded, but the newer areas are at least being built with future growth in mind so here's hoping it won't always be like this. We joke that our state bird is the crane and the state flower is the traffic cone because of all of the construction constantly going on. I hope you enjoyed your trip. I had to google K1 because as I said, we don't do much that puts us near the strip. We've done exactly 2 things there recently. One was a museum near the Boulevard mall on Valentine's Day and the other was an escape room we found a groupon for on our anniversary. :)

Thank you so much for your answer! I always wondered about that. I totally get what you're saying about the smaller city feel. Whe did a few things off strip this time and driving around feels very easy and never to long. We went to LA last year and the driving was.. different ^^ Same in San Francisco. Vegas is the only city I would drive in, my husband has to drive otherwise :D And the parking fees are nuts! Treasure Island still offers free parking, but who knows how long.. I tend to like places where everything is so off normal, that I can forget everything that bothers me at home. So, Disneyland is my Number 1, Universal Studios and Vegas ^^ What we did is getting the Vegas Pass (=100% Tourist) and going to all the attractions and Shows. We do not gamble, actually. Things I love the most in Vegas are the people in generally (everyone is so friendly and nice!), the things like Highroller, FlyOver and so on and (!) FOOD ^^ Btw, I'd love to visit Seattle someday! Our plan is it, to travel the whole west coast.
