Legamünt spell animation looks a lot like schezos. Is honestly a little weird, but overall i really like puyo puyo quest characters coming to a main puyo game

Ragnus’s alt voice sounds like a mix of jontron and danny devito and I can’t tell if I love it or hate it

Ragnus's Alt spells sound like he's trying really hard to be the TRESHMAN

Like if Harpy's singing is more pleasant than some of the more famous pop stars in the current generation.

Ragnus has a pretty good regular voice. But his alternate voice is probably the best in this whole game. Second best would be Schezo or Dark Price

Alright last batch of characters (for now). So we got the two Compile characters that also appeared in Champions, and unlike Rafisol, all their spell lines are new! Also two Quest characters, I don't know much about them but their designs and animations are pretty cool. Harpy: Harpy has always been fun and her voice is pretty much the exact same as how it was in Champions. Her alt voice seems to give her better singing skills which in its own way is cursed. Legamünt: Quest character so I can't offer much. One thing I noticed is that his first three spells seem to parody Schezo's, I wonder if that's intentional. His voice is super cool and deep but in his alt voice he sounds juvenile, good distinction! Ragnus: Still have to get used to the spelling but it's nice to see him back again. His voice direction sounds pretty different in this game, even more hammy than it was in Champions. Since the VA is also the voice of Ecolo and Maguro, I have a feeling it was changed so that it wouldn't sound too similar. His alt voice is probably one of my favorites in the game lol. Rozatte: Another Quest character so can't say too much about him. He's got a really design and his voice is interesting. It sounds raspy and is spoken in a low tone. The voice reminds me of Alex from Puyo Champions so I wonder if it's the same actress. In the same way Legamünt's voice changes to be higher pitched, so does his. I'm not exactly sure what his spells are but I do like the variety we are getting this time after all the spells in PuyoTet 1 were changed to be in English for the foreign ones. Overall really good batch! Really hope they add more characters though. It'd be nice to see more Fever chars like Donguri Gaeru, Oshare Bones, and Popoi. Some other Compile chars too like Zoh Daimoh, Nasu Grave, and Incubus. And some more alts since they added Possessed Klug in the last batch, like Dark Sig, White Feli, Red Amitie, and Yellow Satan.

I like how they didn't translate the spells in the DLC but i am mostly annoyed by the inconsistency in their decision to leave the original batch left translated... Well except Bayouen cuz that i don't know why they left it as is. Surprisingly Rozatte's spells are not "Translated" but it's reworded in the same language I kinda do want them to bring back more Compile characters over Fever ones since Arle's batch of friends is significantly smaller than Amitie and Ringo's generation of her friends is "Technically increasing" if tetris is considered part of her batch due to Ringo still being the one who meets Tee first of the 3 protagonists Using Harpy feels like I'll never stop laughing each time she ever opens her mouth even at the first spell. And of course Rafisol's spells are still the same since this is technically her first debut in 2D format with her counterpart

Yaaaay, I'm happy Legamünt and Lagnus (and everyone else, but they're just my favorites) are in the game! Also...is it just me or does Legamünt have almost the same spell animations as Schezo? ...Probably just me.

it’s really cool that they decided to use the characters that haven’t been in a main Puyo Puyo game besides the mobile game 😳 I have a fav for wizard/ mage designs so seeing Razatte’s design interests me.

I never played puyo quest, but I saw Legamünt's design and thought he was interesting! I'm surprised they actually added him! I thought reviewing puyo puyo champions through the Switch wasn't going to be much help picking him to appear in a future game! I wonder what they are thinking that my birthday is 1894? 😅 I could've put as far back as 1000. 😂

Does anyone else use the Harpy's alternate voice when they play as her? I do every time. It's a lot more pleasant to hear now, even if it's still quite loud and noisy.

Do we know if there are going to be anymore characters added or are these the last ones because he character screen is now a perfect (cosmic) rectangle

Legamunt's not-overhead spells are just Schezo's and that makes me slightly upset

Why do you cut it? Like, it makes me angry when you don’t show the full combo together

Technically it wasn't announced until the update went live, but this happened at the same time it occurred last month. The series producer did tease it on Twitter yesterday, though.

It seems like SEGA wants to distance from that concept, though in Japanese his alt voice is a lot deeper so it could be a nod.
