Hey guys,
I just wanted to let you know that I have recently released a brand new online education platform called eFarriery Education. If you follow the link below I have courses available and one currently for free and would love to have you come and join the platform and take part. I would certainly appreciate your support by signing up for my Anatomy course too which has received such great feedback from those who have already signed up.
Head over to see what courses we have available today!

I was taught by a barefoot trimmer that you want the bars just above the sole plane, starting from the heel and ramping down towards the frog. Tends not to matter when the horse has a shoe on but makes a difference when the horse is barefoot.
Having seen all kinds of other horses get shoed (spelling?) I was always interested in seeing a racehorse. Shoeing a racehorse is indeed different, than say , a Fresian, Clydesdale or a heavy work horse. Loved your style and info! 😎
Appreciate that you show us and inform us the best way to shoe horses. Thank you

talented farrier. meticulous, sure a huge healthy frog.
My Thorobred was grandson of Secretariat and had the flattest feet.
I wish they shod racehorses in the US.... I wish I was able to post pictures here because I would show you how the track farrier shod my exracer here in the US, terrible!
Nice job! 🙂

Thanks Kevin
Why do British farrier’s not use hoof stands? See this all the time in UK.
Any reason why toe clip is off center?
