Hate to burst anyone's bubble but let us Orthopedic Techs apply casts the correct way. I could name at least 4-5 things wrong with the application technique. Cast padding was not applied in a consistant and nonbinding way, the initail positioning of the foot was not correct, know the limb you are working with and apply the correct size of casting tape accordingly, not enough separation between cast, cast padding , and patient. For casts, always use cool water with fiberglass and tepid wate
