We used to put tide laundry sope in ours when we pumped leancrete/grout fill made it pump way better. My guess is the foam dose the same thing keeps the mix flowing and helps keep the sand from settling out. Keeps everything in suspension. That first truck looked way to dry I'm surprised it went through as well as it did. Those lean mixes like that are always a balancing act between to wet and not wet enough.

Laundry/dish soap and plasticizer are almost the same chemical makeup. It works by reducing the molecular surface tension and creating a higher slump without introducing more water, which of course reduces the ultimate strength of the concrete.

I hated that damn pump hose so damn much. We did residential block walls for communities and I was always manning the pump moving it around 4 clamps long! All day in this Vegas heat.

I thought they were making CLC Cellular lightweight Concrete , but , I guess they are using it as a suspension lubricant? was it 5 gallons to 5 yards?

@@carlosyael7298 A lintel is a horizontal support put over a door or window opening. Pumping concrete into wall cores is grouting with a non shrinking mix.

@@MuddyfeetConcretePumping - We are up in Central Oregon, and we pour in the snow... as long as it's over 25 degrees. I dispatch volumetric trucks. I have not been much in the field, but do very much love watching these videos, so I can learn how its like in the field. Too many times my drivers will say that the pump messed up and its pouring slow.. Mostly with line pumps... Keep up the good work...

It’s designed to be added to cement and water only, you pump it into the back with compressed air! It’s a great product but putting any form or fines in you mix is what made it not pump
