Now watch the Russian video of one of their oil refineries in Rostov being bombed by slow Ukrainian drones a few hours ago. Their incredible defences only managed to take down one drone. It wasn't a NATO drone, or even a Turkish one that caused the explosion - but a cheap, basic one the Ukrainians designed and built.

exactly, the newest equipment protects the tsar and some key assets at home, they aren't deploying them to the frontline because most are stymied in production and aren't even close to being delivered.

Putin knew in 2014 that a war with the West was unavoidable, so the Russian Army had all new equipment a reform of their training+ development of of hypersonic + the best air defence on the planet S400-550. When Trump INF treaty was scrapped, he knew he was right.
