He is not very easy to interview… he’s sort of weird and well i am sure his arrogance comes from being in Scientology to long, those people are very hush hush and private about their lives, and yes TOM as a celebrity people do want to know all about you and your relationships, sad but true, so the interviewer was not lying and was just doing his job…!!! But I think TOM should stick to making action films he is not a very good husband nor interesting to watch during an interview, hes to private, its boring.

He bullies others!
My guy really tried to turn this interview into marriage counseling.
Cruise is such an intense guy. I find him mesmerising and frightening.
This is the definition of assertiveness from Tom, something we should all strive to achieve
Tom was direct and honest by putting up a boundary. He answered enough personal questions. He was controlled and respectful. Well done Tom ❤️

“I live in the American Gardens Building on West 81st Street on the 11th floor. I'm 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial masque which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.”

Tom cruise is a really weird selfish boastful person
Real man. Stayed calm, didn't let his emotions overcome him and told him to not cross the line.
Good example of boundaries
Both men are wrong here. Peter for continuously prodding Tom Cruise and Tom for being atrogant and a narcissist. He could have easily told peter that he isnt comfortable answering about his personal life or could have excused himself and walked out.
Cruise caught him quick af trying to get a headline
Some feel Tom Cruise was rude but they need to stop and put themselves in his shoes. You go on an interview to promote a film and the interviewer continues to press you to find out how you feel about your ex.

He could have walked away. No one was stopping him. He stayed and showed his control and superiority towards the interviewer and also to make sure interviewer apologizes. I think both dudes here are at fault.
I love Toms assertiveness. People need to be put in their place immediately when they cross the line. Often we stay quiet and then say “I wish I had told him off” or “ I should have said this or that”. Tom doesn’t hesitate for a moment!!!😊
I love seeing Tom stand his ground. The audacity of that interviewer was astounding. It's crazy when they treat celebrities like an object.

People get so sensitive at the shear mention of children, but Tom makes a valid point. Alot of interviewers like to use the editorial "we, us, viewers" as a cover to themselves wanting to know something. Unless there is poll taken or common question box of millions of people then that question is OVER THE LINE !
