He is not very easy to interview… he’s sort of weird and well i am sure his arrogance comes from being in Scientology to long, those people are very hush hush and private about their lives, and yes TOM as a celebrity people do want to know all about you and your relationships, sad but true, so the interviewer was not lying and was just doing his job…!!! But I think TOM should stick to making action films he is not a very good husband nor interesting to watch during an interview, hes to private, its boring.

If we don't feel comfortable with the question and if they are not necessary, set your boundaries! During a pre-therapy assessment, I was asked how many hours I worked. I felt uncomfortable with the question because I was not doing well in my business. I gave a vague reply, but she insisted. I thought she had my best interests in question, but then I realised and... wtf! I shouldn't have answered that.

In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial masque which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.”

Totally agree. You sign on Cruise and you get the total package. 100% professional. I couldn't care less about his personal beliefs. That's his private business.

I would of walked away, and he actually stayed so good for him. I could tell he was getting uncomfortable with the questions and I'm not even an interviewer so he knew Tom wasnt liking the questions yet he kept asking and digging. I actually admire how Tom drew a line but stayed to continue the interview.

He could have walked away. No one was stopping him. He stayed and showed his control and superiority towards the interviewer and also to make sure interviewer apologizes. I think both dudes here are at fault.

I love Toms assertiveness. People need to be put in their place immediately when they cross the line. Often we stay quiet and then say “I wish I had told him off” or “ I should have said this or that”. Tom doesn’t hesitate for a moment!!!😊

There is something beautiful about this exchange, Tom didn't get angry and walk off, he called Peter out respectfully, Peter tried to sidestep but Tom insisted he take responsibility and he did and apologized. These days interactions like these are hard to come by in the media

I mean you cant really blame someone for walking off if an interviewer is just trying to rile them up and waste their time. Its still a good way to deal with the situation otherwise you play straight in their hand. Staying and arguing is just gonna reflect bad on you and only you.

People get so sensitive at the shear mention of children, but Tom makes a valid point. Alot of interviewers like to use the editorial "we, us, viewers" as a cover to themselves wanting to know something. Unless there is poll taken or common question box of millions of people then that question is OVER THE LINE !
