I love how whole hearted these videos are. The draw is the food, but the main treasure of these videos are the people and their dreams, failures, customs, and values behind it all. It really embodies a life-story in just a few minutes. The world needs more of this, thanks gold thread.
Can’t believe Singapore’s featured! Thank you for this
What a sweet couple and great story too. Would love to try this someday. The "hao la" after the silence killed me too lol.
Next stop you can come to Malaysia. There are many great food here as well.
I sure hope I can get to Singapore and taste this before they retire! I adore the MSG series.
Just went to that store a few weeks ago when I was in Singapore! Brings back so many memories
These videos are so incredibly, peaceful. The video makes world better. Thank you so much 💙
the couple is so sweet, passion makes the food taste great
This is what I love about the food culture of Singapore...well, in fact, anywhere where you have vendors, selling one item, having perfected it over a long period of time. Passion, indeed, does go into that one item. Passion...skill, and dedication. It would be a treat and an honor to try this laksa. Hopefully, I can one day.
what a sweet couple! you can totally see their passion
I miss Singapore laksa... one of the all time great noodle dishes. Now I'm hungry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks great 👌
Great to see these stalls are around. Hope the next generation keep it going
What a couple 💑 serving food with passion
Now this is what I call awesome noodles soup. The soup is good, the toppings is good
incredible stuff. laksa is god-tier stuff
I love laksaaaa
Correction: the noodles aren't cooked in the stock. They're just served together. The boiling soup is poured onto the blanched noodles right before serving.
this is a good video and all but there is a mistake in 0:59 where the word malaysia and singapore is not in the place where it should be malaysia should be in the malay peninsula and singapore just at the tip of the malay peninsula. i hope this can be fixed because as a geography nerd this really aches my soul
I hope he gets to pass on his passion for making Laksa.
per my GF, Malaysia has the best Laksa in Malacca, and Penang, and i agreed. we tried the Laksa in Singapore, it was nothing to write home about. the whelk/clam was so fishy, it ruined the Laksa.
