It was very easy to make, l used 10 batteries plugged it in to the back of my microwave oven and now l can actually watch tv channels and if lm quick enough pulling the door open on the microwave when theres a cooking program on l can steel the food. l havent paid for a meal since thankyou

Yes. This antenna is a “catch all” within a large frequency range. It should work over a large bandwidth. Easier for FM radio stations is a dipole using the formula below . The antenna length is determined by this simple formula: 300 / frequency in MHz. Example FM station is 91.5 MHz. Then 300 / 91.5 =3.2 centimeters. I am an Extra Class Amateur Radio. I built many antennas including helical antennas and did “moonbounce where 4 coils are phased and pointed to a flat plain on the moon. Using 1.2MHZ with 300 Watts we can talk to people in other countries. Antennas are not hard to understand. 300 is the speed of light; the frequency is how many cycles the station is broadcasting. FM stations carries voice, image etc by varying the frequency up and down within a restricted channel. AM, SSB use a different method Also HELicoidal antennas use a different formula for the diameter of the coil & length, space between each loop and number of turns. Helicoidal antennas are very directional and used mostly for transmission.

You got the title wrong again. You just made a set of old style vhf antenna. They used to be called bunny ears. Most countries switched to a encrypted uhf network years ago, so not only is it a higher frequency you need to tune to your country decoder to watch them without interference from other uhf systems. That's why when you tune your tv you need select the country you are in. Stop lying. No home made device can give you all the channels in the world. This is not short wave radio where you just amplify the signal.
