I looked through some old boxes in my basement, and found an old video cassette with the norwegian band Pussycats. Colors is very smeary, the recording may be from 1983. This act is from the beginning of their show. First Sverre Kjelsberg welcomes with a song, followed by Trond Graff doing the instrumental Ebb Tide.

The Pussycats Ebb Tide is superlative! Particularly the original '65 single version; love the swirly organ. And Trond Graff is a genius!
You're thinking of "Can't You Hear" from their 2nd LP Mrrrr.... Mrrr..... I absolutely love that song!
