Carter shouldn’t have grabbed John Paul’s shoulder, he was having a panic attack of course if someone touches or grabs him he’s going to react like that

Oh my OA poor John Paul I really can’t blame him for punching Carter like that honestly what should’ve happened was Carter should’ve just said “John Paul what’s wrong?”. Even the way was talking about Scott being a drag queen and all seriously seemed homophobic but even though he was talking innocent to John Paul he’s still giving me bad feelings. I really hope John Paul will get over this somehow and that cult Carter has in store for John Paul I feel like it’s going to be quite similar to Ste being groomed in that Far Right group. 😒

Carter shouldn't grabbed John Paul's shoulder as he was having a panic attack and John Paul's anxiety was going through the roof. I've got a bad feeling this Carter is going to be bad news and he probably make John Paul's life like hell. 😢

If a person is having a panic attack and is grabbed from behind, the reaction can be violent, even if the person is not prone to violence. I think it's completely normal... I hope they don't put Jean Paul through too much trouble, he's already been through a lot... I hope sooner or later they give him a happy storyline...

Hopefully John Paul won't get into much trouble because he has gone through a lot recently especially through the homophobic attack 😢 and struggling with his alcohol addiction. Hopefully Hollyoaks will give him a happier storyline soon fingers crossed 🤞

@@thomaswinn6201 Even in the not so distant past he faced trauma after trauma, the few happy moments he had passed into sad ones... Let's remember that when he was still married to Ste, he was raped by Finn... All these traumas, left unresolved, or half-managed, accumulate, no matter how much Jean Paul denounced, and tried to overcome it, when Finn was released, I remember his reaction to seeing it, a completely understandable reaction... so in addition to the initial trauma they gave him another one by making Finn come back... Let's face it in Hollyoaks there are characters who are designed to be losers, in everything... I just want Jean Paul to be really happy for once... without too much drama following him...

@@ShadowSoul92 That was awful and devastating when John Paul got sexual assaulted by Finn when he was married to Ste. He was in abusive relationship two years to George Kiss and he has difficulty lately. It's shame he always gets the sad storylines but he plays a good part throughout the programme though. He played the alcoholic storyline really well and that storyline was important especially when it gives the public awareness that addictions happens in real life events. 😢

Seeing Carter stop that guy from talking to John Paul and telling him to stay away from John Paul deffo makes me think even more that Carter is gonna try some crazy conversion therapy stuff.

urm no those things are completely separate lol Scott acting like he wears Drag due to him being gay is Homophobic its due to his personality and if people have a problem with it their not hating on him because he's gay their hating on him because he's dressing up as a woman when he isn't one in my opinion people should make up their minds but you don't get to sit on the fence inbetween.

Anyone remember Aaron decking Robert in Emmerdale in almost the exact same way, just after Aaron had come home from prison. Soap writers often copy whatever has worked well in the past and the same themes keep cropping up.
