Hi, Construction Management!
Hi, quick questions. Would you know if it would be possible to get a full scholarship for Master's by research students
@re-searchlife9292

I have no knowledge of this. Better to ask from the university(ies) that you like to start your degree or google search (it always helps). Good luck! 😊
Is it necessary to have publications to get selected? Without those do we have a chance?
@re-searchlife9292

It depends! But yes, having publications is an advantage most of the time.

Hello. Thanks for the question. In HK, you can’t work unless you get a specail permission from the Immigration Director. In Australia, you can. Better to ask from your university or school. Usually they mention the conditions in the offer letter.

Hi. My expertise and experience are related to Built Environment. Therefore I am not capable of providing specific details. Yet, according to my understanding, the requirements discussed in the video would be applicable despite being different areas.
Hi. My daughter is doing pg in construction mgmnt in India frm IIT Madras. She desires a lot to pursue phd abroad.. Is it affordable for a middle class family lik ours to do it in Australia and whether she will get scholarship..

If she wins a full scholarship, yes it's affordable to live in Australia. You can check the eligibility criteria published in the official websites of universities. I think she can!

Check my video- how I got into HKU where I discussed the eligibility criteria. Whether it's Hong Kong or Australia, the eligibility is pretty much the same!

Daily how many hours on an average you work as a PhD student?
@re-searchlife9292

It depends on the supervisor, work load and personal preferance. Most I have seen is 9-6. That also changes when you have a deadline.
Mam can you share link of University which are taking admission in phd

Many universities have funding schemes and award scholarships for international students. You can check official websites of universities you like to join. In addition, government scholarships like HK fellowship schemes are there too.
Is GRE required for admission in PhD.
@re-searchlife9292

As far as I know, GRE is not required to apply for PhD in Australia. Check university websites for eligibility and requirements.
Hi. I have done Masters in Clinical psychology from India with 73% marks. But I don't have any research paper published or any research done. I really want to enrol in PhD from Australia but afraid enough for the process of getting admission there in PhD. Is it really necessary to have research papers done for applying there?
@re-searchlife9292

Hi, most of the time, yes. Having prior research experience would be an advantage in the selection process. But, you may have a chance based on your other qualifications. Each case would be different, so giving a generic idea would not be reasonable. If I were you, I’d contact a potential supervisor first and ask whether he/she would like to add me to his/her research team. Most of the time, supervisors know the selection criteria and they can really tell whether you have a chance or not. Good luck! P.S. You may need to check whether the Australian universities accept international students these days due to the pandemic situation.

Thanks a lot. Could you please make an elaborated video on the process of application and process of PhD in Australia and scholarships also?
@re-searchlife9292

I did my PhD in Hong Kong and I am more farmiliar with the application process in HK. Yet, there are several similarities when the process is concerned. First thing would be finding a supervisor, develop a proposal (if necessary with him or by yourself-that too vary) and then, filling in the online application (most of the time). If you’re short-listed then you have to face an interview. Finally, the university let you know whether you’re selected or not.
