Love thrift stores. Small saucers I use for underneath baby plants. I found plant stands + bird bath dish + bird feeder plates. I got garden sculptures I got a “banksie” for an empty house wall Old furniture is loved again and any ceramic I can drill a drainage hole into comes home with me.

If your baskets do double duty (as mine do, work and decor) s hooks may be the handiest way to hang them. Thanks for the video Thrifting with a purpose helps keep me focused, but also makes it an adventure searching for my treasure.

Hi missy, I got a record player 2 Christmas ago, too, missy! Would you believe I still have some of my Vinyl records from when I was a kid! I was a big Tiffany Taylr Dane, and Debbie Gibson fan. Then I went a little harder with Def Leppard, Motley Crew, and Ratt.😂 I, too, am an 80's girl! Love it all! Love going thrifting with you, missy! All your finds are so unique! Purposeful thrifting is the ONLY way to thrift for me... thank you for this wonderful video. Since purging our home several years ago of all the clutter, I have never felt so uplifted and quite frankly, FREE! I am now getting ready to do another huge purge of all our seasonal things. I have always decorated for each season and have way too many things (still) that always need to be dragged from a storage closet to the downstairs and then unpacked and put up - then the other stuff packed and taken back up to the storage closet! My hubby and I have found that we are getting a tad bit too old for this massive process season after season, so I am going to part with a LOT of stuff and keep only some very treasured things so I can decorate our mantle in the family room as it is the focal point of that room. The less fuss and muss the better, yet I can still have some things that bring me joy and make our home feel comfy and welcoming. Your video was very inspirational... I am so glad you are back! 😊❤ P.S. I would have half baskets, half sheers on that window!

I grew up in the 80s so I love the music too. I think half on baskets would be nice. Sometimes it's hard to tell on things until they are in place. Loved the idea of using the glass piece for under the plant. I usually use like iron stone plates under mine. I have a prayer plant too. I absolutely love how they open up. The coasters were beautiful and you found a good piece to display them in. Loved the video! ❤

I absolutely love the glass pedestal dish with the plant in it ✨ I love your idea of putting coasters in that gorgeous little copper handled container 👍🏼 I also loved the little copper colander with feet that you were looking at. My sister used to play a Whitney Houston record a lot when we were young - brought back good memories 🥰

I think it would look cute with your curtains open and then fill in the open rod with baskets! ! I love Southern Gospel, some old country and oldies like Doris Day, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra. I just bought a new stereo recently and I’m always thrifting records for me and my Mom to enjoy! Happy Monday Missy! 🤗🤩😊🥰🌟

I have a couple of bars on the wall above my bay window and bought some hooks from Amazon the have a latch (prevents them from falling off) and hang my baskets and a few plants ….similar to your curtain replacement. I absolutely love it, it looks cute and I can take a basket down anytime I want to use it.

I like music from Barry Manilow, IL Divo..etc. my friend a a window like yours, she put a wooden ladder..that belonged to her father..up across it and hung baskets from hooks on the rungs. It looked great. Take care.
