Here’s something that puzzles me as a Deaf business owner. Why aren’t there more organisations thinking about disabled people? Perhaps there’s still the notion that disabled people do not have much spending power?
But this is a short-sighted view and here’s why.
The “Purple Pound” refers to the spending power of disabled people and their families. In the UK, it is estimated to be worth £274 billion to the Economy (Source: Extra Costs Commission).
