In early December 2023, I got Covid. It was the sickest I've ever been, hands down. And it came with the fun side effect of insomnia alternating with terrifying half-awake fever dreams. This track is an attempt to evoke and sublimate that nightmarish week.

Yeah, the loudness issue is probably related to the original production, which was a bit of a rush job. Maybe I can remaster it one of these days. Thanks for listening, and really glad to hear you liked the atmospherics.
