Wonderful to watch. Her dream was also mine once, but I didn't have the support, the parents or the resources she had and just gave up, but I've never forgotten what it felt like to ride a good horse around those barrels at break-neck speed. Thrilling.

I don't agree with whipping, harsh bits, or spurs, but that doesn't give you a reason to hate someone. My friends might do it, but I'm not gonna complain to them every time I see them riding.

Would sure like to see you do a story about BETTY LUCAS of the PRCOA (Professional Rodeo Cowboy Oldtimers Association). She was my favorite Barrel Racer of all time! Martha Josey's video is terrific too. I wonder just how many horses she had during her career? This only spoke of 3. Thanks for the memories.

Martha Josey is just full of crap, I went to a rodeo before and she was there and there was this line to practice barrels in an indoor arena and she pushed a little girl out of line and went to the very front and said " I'm better and more famous then y'all so move" so disrespectful, I have 0 respect for her espically people who whip them.

seriously had to click off. Just whipping and whipping the poor animals. If you literally did this to almost any other animal in the world. Yet we just decide that the exploitation and abuse of horses is ok because its a "sport"

I dont think the horses were opening their mouths. If a horse is in pain they will show by bucking or something else ok. If you truly know horses you would know how they think but I guess not

It’s not ok. I don’t agree with the yanking of bits, whipping them, or kicking the shit out of them but u ride a horse so u should know that just trotting around an arena can cause them to fall and break a leg cause they dripped over dirt. Life is not easy nor fair and we cannot just call shit abuse when it’s not. It’s not like she had a whips or spurs that cut the skin on the horses, but we are all in titled to what we believe but in my opinion if it was so bad that u had to click off, don’t comment cause you didn’t watch the full thing and here her story or see it u didn’t see the pain she went through.
