Not upgrading Burst is what failed for me. You get extra imperil at higher levels.

If you fail to finish off the boss on T5, but it has below 20% hp left, use Sylvie's "I've got your back" on your best Ibara and repeat her finisher LB into everyone else's chain. Hopefully it'll be enough. Sinzar's strategy works best with two EX+3 Ibaras. You can buy a bit of room by capping with your Ibara on T3 instead of base LB chaining. Not sure if it's safer to go for two laps, because the Fryevia card wears off after T5.

I probably won't even bother with lightning and try fire right away this time

My ex-1 Ibarra did it with an ex-3 friend though, brought Illmatale too for extra killers since I don't have Kaito, and Abigail took care of the breaks

Well, I guess seeing Ibara in every single clear video is gonna forever be an annoying reminder that I didn't manage to pull her...

I think the correct fire team is ash lenna youth 2x rain and for support ling because she has machine killer and refills the lb gauge. Going to try that team for now to get by this trial. I think you want to spam rains lb so you want lb fill

I can't do anywhere near the damage, even though I've got a similarly built Ibara. Took 5 turns to kill second boss and couldn't do third cos burst only took it down to 20% and buffs kicked back in

Ilmatalle maybe? Her LB is similar-ish to Ashe’s BS LB (she gives 125 machine killer and 300% to atk and mag only) her SLB is just slightly better but I guess you could use her…and she can double cast 250% machine killer.

Yeah ashe is the magic tank so you would need to swap out another unit for a different tank

For some reason I can't kill the second boss. This guy just dispels himself on your kill turn and then I end up with like 40% or so HP left. Extremely shitty variance does the rest (My 6b on the first boss vs your 10b on the kill turn). Edit: The lightning field also seems to disappear on me for some reason. Edit 2: Nope, can't do it. Fight 2, turn 3 and the bastard has dispelled himself AGAIN. Edit 3: Welp, don't give Kaito his tmr/stmr or Blizzard Orb as it's most likely his counter that dispels the boss and crashes the fight for me. Edit 4: Probably the last edit: Don't forget to improve Sakura's field effect, that's where missing damage suddenly came from.

Don't forget upgraded burst, it can mean a ~10% difference in damage

Can you get rid of mighty guard a second time? I can’t kill the boss the first time after using Kaitos skill and when mighty guard comes back it seems like it keeps coming back every 4 turns when it due to wear off

I have the same issue. It seems that if you burst him below the 50% threshold and allready used Kaito's special Dispel you are screwed big time. EDIT: Most likely our best bet is to wait for Mighty Guard to go away from itself at the beginning, then chip him down as close as possible to 50% before you burst. After that you can reaply buffs and remove his Mighty Guard and burst a second time. EDIT 2: I Killed the second Boss without the 100% Amp in 5 turns. For the last Boss i didnt used Kaito's special Dispel on Turn 2 and saved it for after the burst. Amplify on Turn 3 like in Sinz video and then again after the first burst when the Boss dispels the party. Killed it in 9 Turns which made 16 in total. Sakura EX1, Sylvie EX3, Ashe EX1, Kaito EX3, 2B EX3, Ibara Friend EX3

Took me awhile to get a friend with death immunity but once I did I got It thanks.

Late response but he uses an emulator with macros, FFBE team has said macros, while not expressively forbidden, are not actively encouraged. If they decide the emulators are creating an unfair advantage, they will ban / penalize their use. Was covered when they released the counter mechanic rework.

Any reason you used Sage Sakura instead of Dark Sakura? Dark Sakura is Sage on roids, but if you used Sage, there's gotta be a reason.

Ashe ex 0 ibara ex 1. Could I use Ashe ex 0 on this or would I be better off using chow/cecil/silent knight Charlotte/Lilith are my other options

Cecil and Esther maybe? Cecil: LB field , machinas midigation and ok breaks. Esther omnicover: High machine physical midigation on herself, 120% killer, LB field?, ok breaks and imperil. If you have super strong supporst and dps then any tank will work tho. Edit. Esther works but if Ibaras are not strong enought without 250% killer buff and you fail to kill after the turn 5 burst and 6 last chance, you will face mighty guard hell. I was 3% short after turn 6 and the boss started spamming mighty guard. If my friend Ibara had Cool smile card maybe I could have done it.
