PureRobotics - Next Generation Robotic Pipeline Inspection Crawler
Ғылым және технология
The PureRobotics pipe inspection system is a modular transporter designed to carry sensors and tools through pipelines. The advanced robotic crawler is safer than manned inspections, especially for wastewater and where regulations are keeping people out of pipes in favour of unmanned solutions.
The robot can be equipped with tools such as an inertial measurement unit for XYZ mapping geographic information, 3-D LIDAR scanning tools, or pull condition assessment tools such as 2-D laser technology that can precisely measure the pipeline’s size shape and level of corrosion.
With the new generation, the speed is doubled to 85 feet per minute, which greatly improves efficiency in the field, a huge benefit during time-critical shutdowns.

that's an incredible machine!!!
There is a weak leak underground, about a drop every 7 seconds. Is there a solution?
how much about this robot
it can be used for vertical pipeline too?? Or it is necessary that pipeline should not be present in service condition? If the pipe sizes is changing then can it be squeeze according to that size??? from which software is is estimating the corrosion??

Please find answers to your questions below. Thanks for reaching out! Q: Can the tool be used for vertical pipeline too? A: PureRobotics is a weight for traction system, limiting its ability to traverse vertical sections. Maximum Up slope - 15 degrees, Maxiumum Down slope - 30 degrees Q: Is it necessary to take the pipeline out of service? A: While flow cannot be present during the inspection, PureRobotics is pressure rated to be submerged into pipelines that remain full of water. Q: If the pipe size changes, can the tool squeeze according to that size? A: The PureRobotics platform for inspecting prestressed concrete cylinder pipe can adapt to diameter changes in the pipeline. Q: Which software is used to estimate the corrosion? A: Proprietary software is used to interpret and report wall loss corrosion collected by the electromagnetic sensing systems.

Can you enlighten more with sonar?

Historically, we used sonar on our wastewater inspection robot to aid navigation in this environment.

Hello, I am a student in mechatronics engineering, and my graduation project idea is similar to this idea. Can I have some help from you?
Hi! Can you provide information on the weight of this great robot?
@Editorpurenews
Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question - the weight of the system will depend on the pipe material and diameter it is configured to inspect. The standard configuration for inspecting prestressed concrete pipelines weighs roughly 500 lbs (225 kg). We provide robotics inspections as a service, so our trained technicians are responsible for inserting and extracting the robot from the pipeline.

Whats the smallest pipe can be enter using this robot
@Editorpurenews
Жыл бұрын
@@kriscahya The PureRobotics tool is designed to inspect water transmission mains. Several configurations of the platform are available depending on the pipeline material - the smallest pipeline it can inspect is 16 inches (400 mm) in diameter.
What if the pipe is vertical?

Do you have satellite Office in the Philippines

Hi - yes we do have an office in the Philippines. Our robotics offering is currently limited to north America, but please reach out if you are interested in alternative approaches for condition assessment. puretechltd.com/contact/
That looks incredible, unless the pipe has stones or mud in it

Hi postminchoppa - thanks for your comment. PureRobotics is purpose built for pressure pipe inspections - pipelines like the transmission mains that bring potable water from a treatment plant to your community. While rocks and mud are uncommon in these lines, the track treads have been custom designed to provide traction against slippery pipe walls.
