Did you do an ECU Flash or something comparable to that afterwards? Do you feel like it has effected the performance?

I used this same app for my tests with a Yoshimura R77 Slip-On and the muffler removed. I measured 112 Decibels without a muffler and 108-110 Decibels with the Yoshimura R77 Slip-On with baffle removed. I ordered the full system Toce and I hoping it’s quite a bit more.

I like how flush it is, I got an eBay one sounds the same but I’m not willing to fork over 300$+ for aesthetics

How much avg mileage are u getting with the TOCE on??

Damn it sound almost like my r1.

Question for you. Since you didn't do the ecu flash. Did you still block off the AIS (intake box) and the charcoal canister or left it as is? If blocked off, any difference in performance? I read from the r3 forums that when someone blocked it off, they noticed a lag in throttle response.

Yeah if I remember correctly the exhaust system comes with block off plugs for the ais and to remove the charcoal canister completely. I can’t comment on the throttle lag though because I installed the exhaust when the bike had somewhere around 50 miles on it, so I didn’t get a real feel for the throttle before the exhaust went on. Also, to answer your other question on the other video, I haven’t had any issues running the stock ecu with this exhaust.

@@julietechosierra ah ok so you installed the plugs and took off canister. And so far bike is super smooth with no issues. BTW, any pop/crackles/backfires? I wouldn't mind that lol

It pops/crackles sometimes, but usually only on downshifts in high rpm.

Do you plan on doing an LED kit on the r3?? If you do please make sure you record it all lol. I can’t find one single Clean video on how they install it. I currently have the 2019 R3 with the m4 street slayer exhaust. R6 throttle tst fender eliminator like i said if you put an LED kit please record it 😁😁

Did you tune or flash the r3 after the m4?

Is dyno tune necessary ?

I did have to remove the charcoal canister. I didn't flash the ecu or anything. It's been running the exhaust on stock ecu for a while now with no issues.

@@julietechosierraI’ve read that not flashing damages your bike? Did you have any issues at all? I just got a toce for my 2024 r3 and just worried it might cause longevity issues which I want to ride this bike until the wheels fall off. I might get it flashed by toce but I also would just keep it stock ecu if it doesn’t have any issues.

yeah its crazy loud. A slip-on would probably work and sound just as good without you having to worry about possibly getting a ticket.

Not sure where you live but Ive been riding a 2008 r1 with a FULL catless, sato racing exhaust with an aftermarket tune, air filter, power commander 5 and I have never been pulled over for my exhaust in 5 years. My Subaru Sti on the other hand... that's a different story. I think it has something to do with the "loud pipes save lives" movement. Obviously, yes cops could give you a ticket just to be a jerk, but neither myself or any of my friends have ever gotten one for a loud exhaust and we all ride obnoxious liter bikes. But, something like speeding on the other hand, that will land you a ticket unless you run which I dont recommend. Just dont be a tool off traffic lights and do burnouts or stupid stuff in front of cops and you should be fine, but obviously nothing is guaranteed. I am fairly sure if you pull up next to a straight piped Harley Davidson, you wont even hear your exhaust and they seldom have issues. Hope this helps.

@@illuforce I do agree that it comes down to the individual Officer if you get pulled over. My goal is simply to convince people that police typically leave motorcycles alone and not to worry. Im now running a 2015 ZX10r and my 2008 R1 with very loud exhausts and still no tickets. Also on a side note, they have recently been removing yearly smog checks and inspections in some states because cars are running so clean nowadays. This is great news for car enthusiasts because they wont have to worry about getting flagged at inspection stations once more states follow this trend.

No matter what you do to these. They will never sound as good as R6's do unfortunately
