Kamikazee is one of those Filipino Bands where in OPM we tagged as Tunog Kalye... Tunog Kalye (Sounds of the Street, People's Sound) are commonly referred to as the music of the late 80s to early 2000s rock bands, that includes Eraserheads, Parokya ni Edgar, Siakol, Cueshe, Rivermaya and many more. And yeah, we almost know all those popular songs and get to know the lines even without memorizing but because we get to hear a lot of these over the radios. And the songs are good start to learn how to play the guitar. 🤗

I was there on the front row left side!!!!😂 that was the last song.. the camera wasn’t able to capture the crowd’s solid voice. And yes, Jay was even joked about his hoarse voice towards the end 😂 and how they played in small venues their whole career because they don’t trust themselves to fill up the seats of Araneta (venue). And finally on their “last night”, HELLO ARANETA! they can’t believe they really did fill up the place. They took a break because Jay had to undergo surgery..

For me, this is the most iconic opm song of the 2000's. From the first strum of guitar you can recognized it already. I remember in 2006 (elementary days), anywhere you go you can hear this song.

Kamikazee used to open act concert for Parokya. They’re good pals and have helped and worked with each other. There is always something liberating when you sing this. Singing your lungs out at the karaoke. And everybody will always respond when they hear it. Everybody starts to sing along.

Jay, the main vocalist, is literally so likable. Even though rock was not my cup of tea, I remember liking the band back then because he's just so authentic & one heck of a performer...literally giving his all as if it's his last each time he's given the opportunity...rolling and running back and forth & up & down the stage❤

I saw this guys singing way back! Rolling in the stairs while singing even backflip on stage. It was fun watching kamikaze on live

I've seen him perform live in one concert with other legendary OPM bands before their hiatus and I must say, there's a reason why he's tired. This man performers at his 1001% every single time. Crazy, crazy good performers.

Yes its a celebratory song, song of plea under the context of being hopeless romantic wrapped in a Rock Anthem how cool is that? I hope you'll listen also to the song's recording. Kamikaze is one of those bands during my High school years when song hits magazine is still there. When we have breaks at school and someone would bring out the guitar and everyone will bring the chairs in a circle and we would start singing and jamming while someone plays the guitar. Nostalgic. OPM bands are top notch 🙌🏻

Where the hell do you guys keeps on getting your story. Back then GMA are hiring opm singers for OST of their dramas. Same as when South Boarders was contracted to create somgs for Mulawin. Kamikaze was contracted for Darna OST. Not because of Angel Locsin. Angel Locsin only starred on the show but GMA always hired OPM singers.

She is Narda in real life with a side kick normal kid named Ding which always aide her in her stransformation by a slingshot or throwing the stone from a comet that narda swallow to transform and shouting Darna.
