On March 17, 2021, a large crowd of young adults was enjoying their spring break in Clearwater, FL. As police were in the area, the crowd became unruly and a fight broke out, resulting in several arrests. When one of the suspects was placed in the backseat of the squad car, an uninvolved individual opened the backseat door and let the suspect escape while handcuffed.

Some drunk butthole speeding his car down the beach and hitting a few of them would make them think twice about wanting to be acting out in places like this, Because it turns out true chaos is not fun. Thats how you know all of these kids are SOFT. They’re loud, but SOFT. And they think stuff like this is fun until they’re in a cop car. They need something to happen to them or right next to them for them to realize simple things. Kids today are not bright. Born after 2000? That means you need a step by step guide on how to boil macaroni…. Its not self explanatory to people like them. Its truly pathetic and sad.

The mom trying to argue for this to become a misdemeanor is blowing my mind. Fleeing from the police is a felony and if I were to do something so stupid as to run from police and ended up with a felony, my parents would do nothing. My dad always told me, if I end up getting arrested for something, he will not bail me out and I will spend the night in jail and face the consequences and I totally agree with him.

The cops who charged him with felony escape are idiots. No DA would prosecute that after watching the video. The kid didn't open the door, he didn't kick out the window, and he didn't ask for anyone to help him. It's natural human instinct to escape imprisonment, and it was the cop's fault for allowing him to escape, and the other kid's fault for opening the door. Running through an open door is not illegal. As for why the first charge was dropped, I'm guessing he was a first time offender and after having been jailed after arrest the judge probably figured any prison sentence would just amount to time already served.

Escape charge is bs if its false imprisonment to begin with, just because theyre acting like kids and antagonizing cops gave them 0 right to do that there, the only one that would have ever stood in a million years is the dude who opened the door, and the fact you can watch this video and see that these kids deserve to have their life ruined ESPECIALLY with that prick cop who had the audacity to blame the mother at the end makes me sick.
