Gorgeous, has my Jack from 10 weeks until eleven years later she died (suddenly) on my lap. She would lay on my bed with her head on the pillow, sleep all night and only get up when did, followed me everywhere, a beautiful friend who asked for nothing and gave everything in return. I miss her so much. ❤️

DASHA DO My Son, like everyone else stuck at home decided to get a Puppy, so now we have Hunter, he's been with us for 10 weeks, Jack/Pug/Chihuahua, he's absolutely gorgeous, finally got him house trained, sweet disposition, loves his walks and loves everyone, and despite the cold weather he's playing in the snow with all the other dogs, and he is titchy tiny, good decision.

My jack Russell follows me everywhere. He sleeps with me . He either has his head on my arm or he is curled up next to me. He loves to play tug of war. My very best friend is Sampson my jack Russell

We can relate to your sad loss with our Daisy who lost her struggle to kidney decease aged 14. She slept on our bed too and only got up when one us did, she loved affection and loved giving affection. Our other Jack Russell is lost with out her and doesn’t bark or like going for walks anymore. Have been trying to get her a new friend but it is proving harder than we thought as there are so many scammers out there. Daisy though will never be forgotten and she always comes up in conservation.

Had a jack Russell for 19 years was devastated when he died he was so Loyal and always by my side

Reminds me of my first Jack Russell called Sam. Same colour with docked tail.Had him from a pup until he sadly passed away 18 years later. My best friend and miss him every day. He was a character with a heart of a lion .

So cute first day and already free doing whatever. So love my JRT. The energy does not end. Very loyal and always playful.

Lol man i love this dog size but the more i read the more i found out they high in energy...i love dogs to be fun and playful but 24/7 ?not sure lol....this breed seems to be up all nite and never sleep lol

had a jackrussel as a kid, very gentle, but tough. He caught rats easy, as fast as lighting . Caught three rabbits in one day, he'd walk past a bramble bush, stop, freeze , wag his tail, turn his head east and west. Then charge. Needless to say, we had Rabbit stew that night. Loved that dog , great friend.

@@fortnitegamez1294 There puppy teeth are like razors, get some tuggy toys on rope and distract him towards that, I would suggest some puppy training lessons to get the basic commands. Our JR is 12 weeks now and the biting is a lot less but still has the odd `attack mode` but he is a ball of fun.

These little guys are like "canine-piranhas" on steroids 😂😂😂. Our pet stores in South Africa have chewy bones made from rawhide. All of my dogs over many years have loved these artificial bones and our vet advised that they are beneficial for both cleaning the teeth as well as serving as a form of roughage too. I found that these help a bit in their first 3 to 4 months while they are teething & their jaw strength is still developing. It also keeps them busy "killing their prey" 😂😂😂 for days on end. From 6 months onwards they tear through those rawhide "bones" like piranhas. What I love about them us that they remain playful throughout their lives while in parallel maintaining a "ferocious personality" to protect you from strangers and/or other dogs. Our JRT's are "Boss of the streets" when we take them for walkies on the leash much to the amusement of all our neighbours with their well behaved & bemused bigger breeds. If the Rhodesian Ridgeback down the road could speak he would probably say to them something like "Awww shut up you little loud-mouth twits" 😂😂😂

I got mine when she was two months old and could fit in my hand. She’s eight now...

Love of my Life, her name was Jacky ... We miss her so much and cry for her She was poisened by unknown sick junk called human . She died in my arms at the vet and im broken since then We will never forget you, our beloved little girl.

Please consider adopting a cat, they don't require all the work that goes with a dog, no walks needed and no barking either. And if you adopt a adult cat, they are more mellow then kittens and can be alone without another cat provided you keep them company. Kittens need to be adopted in pairs to be happy.

I lost my Jrt 2 months ago, it still hurts. He was blind and deaf, but otherwise healthy. 2 days later, I got my shorty, Bruno. He is the best, super cute. Love this breed, to bad they are misunderstood.

I really don't owe you any explanation, but after 16 1/2 years with my best friend, it was very lonely, so I, yes, I wanted another JRT right away Love the breed.. For your information, JRT rescues were the first place I went to, and I have adopted twice in the past. So, you shouldn't judge people
