Same here. A long time ago , I was walking my dog on a Chicago winter night , and heard a sound coming from a large dumpster. Someone dumped three (3 day old) kittens in a box. Well I took them in , raised them , and kept the runt. He was so loving and nearly made it to 21.

It's beyond cruel for someone to have put those adorable puppies in a dumpster. I'm so thankful that they were found and given the proper care that they needed. I'm glad that Esme made it through and that all of them found good homes. ❤🐶

I'm not arguing that it isn't cruel. But also remember it could be 50/50 chance they were put there by some worthless junkie who can't even take care of themselves, much less an animal. I know of such people because of my ex's daughter being a homeless junkie and listening to her tell me about the stupid shti she does and that her homeless junkie friends do, including not caring if their cat has kids, has a clean litter box, food, they just let the girl cat get pregnant and do nothing differently after the babies are born.

I’ll never understand why people abandon animals this way when clearly there are people around who are ready and willing to take care of them.

I was the “runt” of a set of twins and they thought I wouldn’t make it. My mom said for the first year she could see my ribs, spine, and my tailbone protruded because I had so little fat. Turns out I have a digestive disease and I wasn’t absorbing all of my nutrients.

Adopted 2 puppies from a friend, they were from 2 different litters & 1 was much smaller than they other & only 2 days younger. They both had chihuahua mothers & very different fathers from around the neighborhood. The larger 1 was Crockett who was half Jack Russell terrier, the other (who grew up tall enough for Crockett to walk underneath) we don't know what breed his father was besides a small hunting hound from the looks & behavior that Bowie shows. He's skinny & built for running and occasionally does this high baying bark. He has a coat that can be found in some of the more unusual hound breeds & the Catahoula cow dog. Pretty happy that he's got an unusual face with almost half of it being black with a straight line where it meets the speckled grey half. He's very much the alarm dog.

We just had puppies and they are the most precious little things, how anyone could ever hurt them is beyond me.

@Farming And Art I moved in with my Daughter after my Son in Law just recently passed away, she has a Beagle and I have a Chihuahua and neither are fixed, well need I say more, ha!! They were going to breed their Beagle, the Beagle was the runt of the litter, not any bigger than my Chihuahua.

No matter how hard I try I can't understand how someone can abandon a life that doesn't know how to care of itself yet. Anyone who abandons puppies have absolutely no room for empathy in their hearts

Fabulous women here folks...they rescue, they treat, they love, they foster and they adopt these adorable puppies....thank you to all these fabulous women.

I met someone once who was a vet tech that told me she got her dog from a litter of puppies that someone had not only thrown into a dumpster but had put them in a trash bag and thrown them away. Luckily, someone heard them, but they could have easily been killed by suffocating or if a garbage truck had come first. People really don't care.

How could anyone do such a vicious thing.

Little Esme is adorable and she will have such a great life with her mama.

Cutest little puppies...not what I expected them to look like when they got older...sweet looking dogs

Brought a runt home. Felt bad for her. She had two gimpy legs from being knocked off the rockpile repeatedly by kids. Got her home, stuck her on a heating pad. She healed quickly and grew into a petite, lovely shephard lab. Loved her Uncle Peyote (he taught her some lovely manners, the way older dogs do), her old cat Maynard and her human toddler. She was a lovely dog, everything you'd want a dog to be. A roaming dog would occasionally come by and run the fence with her when she was outside. One day she went over the fence and followed him. She showed up at the front door as our kindergartener was off to the school bus 36 hours later. Obviously hit by a car. Massive gash in her back and a shattered leg. I was a single, disabled mom--I could not afford to put the dear dog back together. Mad, sad and heartbroken. I waited until a dog was literally dumped on my doorstep, 29 years later, to be a dog mom again. My kindergartener was all grown up and very ill. Buddy brought joy to his last months. He passed 18 months after Buddy came to us. Don't know that I'd still be here if Buddy hadn't made me get out of bed. I think he was sent by angels.

Oh dear 🥲 You’ve had a terrible time. I truly wish that there was affordable vet care for all animals, so none had to be put down because people can’t afford to pay. And your poor son. That must be heartbreaking. Glad you have your Buddy taking care of you! Furry people are the best!

You are implying this happened in the West, like the United States. Not likely to have cameras in places like the Middle East for many reasons have a dislike of dogs, because of their religious stories and view them as dirty. It is stupid superstition. I have no doubt from hearing an American woman from Kuwait doing an adoption, that this happened likely in a place like Iraq or the surrounding countries.

It was so heartbreaking to hear that these beautiful, precious puppies were discarded like rubbish! There are some horrible evil people in the world! It reminds me of a similar story where my mum rescued a litter of puppies, she saw someone dump the poor things outside in the rain and cold. I am so glad and grateful to know there are kind hearted people out there who go rescue and care for these poor animals ♥️♥️♥️

I recently listened to a police interview of someone who put a baby in a dumpster (Was found later and is safe) and the person was very self centered. Only cared about the convenience of their own life "but I'm just 21, but I'm still young, I need to experience life", that was the "reason", It was super creepy. Only cried when caught also. I am glad I've never seen animals (unwillingly) in a dumpster, but if I did I'd absolutely save them.

I cried happy tears for those little pups. They turned out so cute. The runt turned out to be the best.
