Considering how some of the human characters in the movies were somewhat unlikeable, it wouldn't surprise me if a majority of players choose to be the puppets.

I'm a TOTAL Puppethead, and this game is awesome!

So, just played a couple quickies. As a passionate fan since the original, I am just beyond words impressed. The attention to detail is phenomenal! I didn't do much and had a blast! This game looks, sounds and plays amazing! Still trying to get my controller working, but such a fun game. I hope this releases for everything. As a small team we don't want to spread ourselves out to thin by making multiple versions at once. So we will be focusing on only the Steam version for now. Once this version is well polished and balanced. We will look into porting our dream project on to consoles.

⁠@@octobergamesngl but I definitely would love to be able to play this on my PlayStation even though I’ve played it on my laptop with almost 24 hours of gameplay, but it runs like shit so that’s why I would rather play on a console

Just hopped back on for a few hours since getting it at release. It's already come a long way in terms of content and balancing. Can't wait to see what the finished product looks like! But damn is it refreshing to get a game in beta that's already following through on deliverables.

I'd also like to add that the player base is rad. Which you may have already figured, since they're 99% PM fans lol but it's great getting to chat it up with likeminded people while playing. Ps great idea adding the lobby chat!

This is awesome

A dream come true for the fans. I would love to see the Egyptian merchant from PM2 appear as a character, that can summon fire on the puppets. A map of an exterior / outside grounds of Bodega Bay Inn on a cliff side facing the ocean with the desert graveyard out back too!

Pretty cool now just need to have subspecies along with Trancers games too :). That is a good idea concept. Reminds me a bit of when played the Z Nation game they had for a while among a few others. Though this seems like a better console sorta style and version. Surprised it took this long heh. Could have like a throwback Retro Version to match that movie then one with Aliens if recall franchise properly :). Get like 3 vs 3 Aliens vs Puppets ;).

the drama might just be some spoiled people who are use to mega million CoD games with hundreds of crew working on it. This is a small team indy game that they've made on their spare time and their own finances and what they've accomplished so far is create something that fan's have been dreaming of, you can play as the puppets, which are amazingly animated. A huge developer would never pick up something like this or give it the love and attention of an actual fan of the franchise.

@@Tchernobog Yeah and even for a small team this looks pretty solid! I may have my dislike for everything being forced online but that aside the game looks like the Puppet Master game I wished for years ago. And as an indie developer myself I KNOW how hard developing games can be.
