VUST I helped them put their merch back in the van and Stefan and I recorded a video for my best friend who actually got me into pup. Then we got black out drunk. They played somewhere else that night but I missed it

their guitar tones are such good contrasts for each other, Stefan's all fuzzy and Steve's brings the high end and mids. So much TOAN!!!

@@thedamnshame my understanding is that the rest of the band sort of hated Stefan's tone and wanted him to change it, but he didn't really care. Now he and Steve both play updated Dr. Z amps and their live tone is inSANE.

@@benmichael86 he’s also been using a HiWatt with the Dr.Z, his tone is super powerful, however there is something with the pickups that he hasn’t been able to recreate since retiring Matilda for the Bartlett Parlor.

I was a casual fan until Morbid Stuff dropped. Liked the first two albums a good bit, but now I'm becoming a diehard fan thanks to that album and this audiotree performance. Amazing stuff.

It actually took me a few listenings of morbid stuff to really love it, because it is different than the first two albums, but am in love with it now. Not sure if they could ever release a bad record

This is the best sounding PUP session on KZread. Audiotree always on point, CBC’s First Play just can’t hold up compared to this.

@@iandavis7980 a little late, but you should also check the band direct hit if you haven't. "Brainless God" is a fucking great album. Their new stuffs good too, but Brainless God is nearly perfect.

Fest 13 Gainesville, you covered a band that had to leave. 2nd set of the day, you guys asked for song callouts; I yelled Yukon as loud as I could and you guys went straight in. Thank you for always keeping it real.

Audiotree sound engineers are also a big reason these guys and other artists sound so well on here live.
I looked this up because the bass player from Durry was wearing a Pup shirt. I'm so happy I did. I hope Pup the band keeps making this punky rocking original Canadian purity for ever
