Arrivecan and mask on planes are finally ending in canada at the end of September. I’ll be visiting punta cana after a along 6 years since the last time I was there. I can’t wait! Gonna go to Punta cana princess resort

Bring a tumbler to keep drink cold and get a larger drink - which means less trips to bar and tipping for less drinks

In my opinion putting down towels is horrible.. people go down at 5am and reserve them and never even go... that's when I steal their towels and turn them in for towel cards lol

We don’t like it either when people reserve them for the entire day regardless of if they’re using them or not. I wish hotels thought of a way to make it more democratic.

Thank you for the tips! I have been watching many videos. Where would you suggest to stay with a 1 year old and a 10 year old. I have been researching and was looking at Ocean El Faro, Royalton Bavaro Autograph, and the family club at grand bavaro princess. Now Im not sure watching your videos :) Thank you for all your work and effort on the info for the resorts you have done!

Hola Trena 😀thanks for your support! Have you given any thought to the Lopesan Costa Bavaro? From the three you mentioned (we haven’t stayed at the Princess) I would pick the Royalton Bavaro which I believe your kids would love. Going back to the Lopesan, watch our tour video and the review video is coming soon! (Maybe this week) 🙂 the Dreams Onyx is also a good option for families. Ari 😁

Use Viator is great for all locations and including Punta Cana.

We've used Viator before, and it's solid. In the specific case of Punta Cana, we've noticed they have way too many options for tours. Before, they did a better job of hand-selecting the tours, which is why we started doing it on our own website www.nittygrittytravelers.com/puntacana where you can book high-quality Punta Cana tours 🙂

I’m not sure, I think I overheard that you don’t have to book as Unique but nevertheless, booking is a breeze using the app 🙂

Hola, Karly :) nosotros no somos fiesteros y pudimos encontrar áreas el hotel tranquilas para relajarnos. Puedes ir con tranquilidad aunque sabiendo que habrá áreas en las que realmente el ambiente de fiesta es muy marcado.

Good video but you forgot to mention how to avoid the pressure tactics of staff trying to up sell you on timeshares

We do notice this in all resorts; however, being local, we've never been offered any timeshares, so we have no experience being on that side of the equation. We would love it if you could comment on your experience, as it would be beneficial to other members of the community 😀

I take my nap in front of the pool after I leave the buffet at 1pm😂😂

We even opened a room once and waked someone up! 😝 I don't know who was more startled, him or us!

Maybe this souds silly, but I am really concerned about shoes, specially for a la carte restaurants. You need to take flip flops, crocs, nice shoes for dinner, shoes for sports, walking shoes, running shoes, shoes for excursions. Can't you get into a restaurant with a pair of Asics, for example? Isn't that more "elegant" than the hawaiian shirts or sorts caps some (US) tourists use?

My tip is stay away from bars in the pool, we call these pee pools. Not kidding people sit there all afternoon and they never have to urinate?
