YES! I fully believe in punk being a good onslaught counter lol, his kit matches so well with the ideal flow of an onslaught fight; I think in a perfect world, albeit hard to pull off I imagine, but you wanna bait onslaughts sp2s cause they’re faster/give more time to build your own power; nonetheless good showcase of punk

I very recently got punk as a 7 star from my first ever titan, is he worth being one of my only r2's when i cant dupe him?

Dope!!! I've been testing out my R2 7-Star in BGs and even unduped I've gotten 60s kills. He just can be a bit slow at times, but I'm not too phased because once he's awakened I know he'll cook. Besides his Specials waste quite a bit of time on defense that he's secured me Ws there as well.

You should be able to punish sp1 as well if your evade is on cooldown! Saves you some seconds in BG

As someone with an r2 sig 40 7* Spunk, I think he might be one of my new favorite Onslaught counters. I just wish I could see the look on the people’s faces, when I down their Onslaught is 50-60 seconds at 100% health

@@AllisonEdits I do indeed understand, though now that my Spunk is at sig 50; he’s getting banned pretty consistently. This one guy banned him and 2 of my other science champs, just so he could to try and draft all mystics. He left my r3 mantis alone, to which I kindly responded by nuking his r3 sassy in 40 seconds in the 2nd round to win. He immediately rage quit, and was emoting on me the entire match 🤣

Just watched across the multiverse. Was psyched that for me, Gwen, was the main character. Excited for punk content as well. On another champ, I’m calling it positive Sunday. Sable can be a very good to excellent champ. There’s a ton of mechanics other champs have she needs. Needs some way to pause and or the timing goes from 20 to 40. I also think shocks should be 100% not 40%. The awakened ability needs to be scrapped, it’s irrelevant, and they can be creative. Many champs become dual threats once awakened. Perhaps she starts shrugging, becomes stun immune, unblockable, gets immunities also. Ideally becomes Shuri like in that Shuri is great on all length fights after buff. So is Gamora after her buff. So if there’s a will, there’s a way. She has in theory, utility now, between disorient and miss. But in practice 2 heavies in 20 seconds with the AI, is really hard. Can’t do that and lights and mediums for shocks. I also think she’s only viable in fights where, ironically, they are shock immune. In BG at least. So some way to be more relevant with burst damage against non-shock immune. Maybe that can be the sig? The sig does burst damage. But I’d rather it made her defensively relevant or a whole new ability on offense. Excited you are showing community Punk’s abilities. I need to find a special 2 tutorial. Onward with Sable. She’ll be ok. Can’t cry over spilled silver that she was released as she was….. shouldn’t have happened IMO, but it did. Thanks for helping make it right. The mines work well. I hope they get creative how to make them more relevant. 1% fervor, to me, is scraping bottom of the barrel. And the damage isn’t relevant enough. Having opponent go over em needs a rethink by Kabam. Then she can be relevant and that would be a fun mechanic instead of meh….

@@AllisonEdits thanks. And the more I think of the skill clsss, she’d have to become Aegon level long form content relevant to ever go to r2. Unless they fix her for every length fight, like they did Shuri. There’s Kate, Shang (great for all 3 lengths). Abundant skill nukes. She might, might, have some relevant niche. Maybe. Shuri went from great a long form to super relevant in all lengths. So Kabam knows how to do it. Unlike Shuri who always worked on long from, Sable right now doesn’t work on any. Too much work, too little payoff is how great players saw her instantly. So here’s hoping the rebalance makes her relevant in all lengths. Or if not, like THE long content queen: best in game.

@@AllisonEdits thank you. I’m still…disappointed and hoping to let go of any anger and frustration at what happened. And it’s with all of Kabam. Any new team person should always have supervision, constructive feedback, etc. IMO at least. And also the designer should have noted 20 seconds was way, way, way too short. All the 20 needed to be 40 and ways to pause, and she wouldn’t work in game as intended. I’m standing by that was all super easily avoidable. There just should never be this incredible variation in champs. I’ve been testing. Moonknight, OG BW, Elektra all perform better than her. She has a couple of niche fights she will do better on. Ironically she’s particularly bad in long content. At least for me, because everything falls off. And slower than average but kind of ballpark for shock immune. The burst is better than the shocks. I’m not sure that was intended. Anyhow, I want to believe there were many eyes, and they all…didn’t do their best work/feedback on this one. I understand rebalancing. However seems minimal quality assurance process/internal discussion, could have avoided the need in first place. But who knows if even worth ranking then🤷🏻‍♂️ plus does any player want to get a titan, much less, 3 where it’s going to be bench time for 8 months…. I’m open to being extremely off base. But it seems pretty easy to see she wasn’t going to work well with her numbers. Some pause was needed. And that the sig was either next to useless (allergy huge cruelty) to making her worse.

@@AllisonEdits also want to be crystal clear that I don’t think it was intent, ‘evil’, lack of competence, lack of ability, etc. But rather lack of testing, feedback, quality assurance. Something, it seems would have been easily avoidable. But…yet we live in a world where it happened. So is what it is, in 7-8 months maybe better. Maybe not. Thank you for alerts being so positive with champs! Love it.

it's also worth mentioning that it was fight against only 6* onslaught, both spider punk and onslaught were ascended and onslaught has -250 physical resistance which boostes spider punk physically oriented damage. Despite all of this he still BARELY won in a perfect fight where he evaded all of the specials correctly and AI was cooperating with the specials.

I see a r4a champ that currently has a 10% saga boost taking almost two minutes to kill a r5a onslaught with a full hp finish. The health finish is impressive, but the time is quite slow.
