I love dodging those quick attacks. Makes you feel like you're in a samurai movie. You know the classic scene of two swordsman slashing past each other, freezing for a moment and then one guy falls down? Chef's kiss

I find it inspiring how she has alot of combat experience and she knows when to use the special move at the right time

@@ashyzu i think the reason they did nier was because it was not too far off from the post apocalyptic cyborg/androids vs machines theme that PGR stands for. In case of DMC its all demons and monsters. So they might be a bit reluctant.

Ooh, that's neat. That's a problem when I try a character I'm not used to. I'm like "This is pretty and all. But I can't see! " Used to have trouble with Lotus because her twin blade attacks are a similar color to the enemy attack flashes.

0:40 I usually dodge into those sword wave barrages. They're the bane of my existence but if I dodge forwards I can at least be closer even if I get hit. Plus, something weird happens when you're right in her face. As usual you're invincible while dodging. But it seems when you're right in front of her, the sword waves keep missing even when your dodges end. It's a bit inconsistent though. But at least I don't have to choose between dodging forwards or sideways.

Trying dodging into the waves. For some reason, if you're right in front of her, the waves keep missing even when your two dodges have ended. A bit inconsistent IMO but it at least gets you closer to attack. But yeah, even dodging twice sideways doesn't seem to fully avoid them. I always get hit by one. Maybe we need to supplement with normal movement?
