So..OP or over written. Because he just doesnt fit in honestly. They have to force his existence. The worst decision ever was to mimmick when Deadpool killed marvel and pretend that punisher could do the ssme. What happened when he fought Hulk isnt even actually possible to stop Hulk. Sad reallly for punisher fans

My best gaming moments must be from various arcades. I like the old beat-em ups like Cadillacs and Dinosaurs and Marvel vs Capcom. There are others games I like, but beat-em ups have to be my favourite out if all the arcade genres.

When Punisher lifted the Kingpin over his head it blew my mind!

In Daredevil, there was a crime-boss associated with the Kingpin named Eric Slaughter who led a cabal of hitmen. I remember they often used unorthodox weapons that would fit in with this game like nunchucks and blowdarts.

That Guardroid has some serious moves.

Some of the most badass ending credits ever. I played it at the arcade and noticed that a few times, especially during the final fight with Kingpin, there were slowdowns and sprite flickering, possibly because the CPS-1 hardware was being pushed to its limit at that point.

I don't think the CPS2 was ever given more CPU speed or better sprite capabilities than the CPS1; probably just a result of poor programming when you consider how quickly these games were released.

Thanks for posting this. The punisher is an equal opportunity ass kicker. Men, women, robots, animals, he does it all.

The Kingpin isn't even fat. He's 350lbs with only 2% body fat. Kingpin is a monster of muscle and a experienced martial artist. Don't let his large frame confuse you, because he has manhandled people like Spider-Man with ease.

Wow loved this game in the arcade in the 90s, such nostalgia.

Really like how this game gives limited uses on the melee weapons, yet has seemingly infinite ammo on a common pistol.

This was the beginning of a beautiful friendship between Marvel and Capcom. ^^

2019 I was looking for this game!

I loved this game at the arcade. My favs were this, the Simpsons, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter 2, X-Men, and Turtles in time.

It's honestly bizarre how Jigsaw, The Punisher's arch-nemesis, isn't even a boss here, he's just a slightly more beefed up unique mook.

12:40 - Kingpin is pretty badass to be able to take like three straight grenade dumps into his lap and it only take off about 10% of his total health.

One of my favourite arcade games. Plus this had the first version of Nick Fury I remember. cool.
