Koi nhi karta. Paisa kamane, dahej lene aur benefits enjoy karne ke liye saare nahi lekin kaafi saare log upsc karte hai hain. Iska ek bada reason jo hype create ki hui hai govt jobs like ias, ips ki and exams like upsc, ssc, etc ki media dwara aur public dwara. Also once some candidates become ias and have posts like collector, not all but many of them become arrogant.

In US and most developed countries, no such exam is required for civil services. Any person who has a degree in Masters of Public Administration can be directly recruited from University. Glorify private sector jobs like Microsoft, Tesla in US not the UPSC jobs.

Yes. The USA has a very robust private sector job network unlike India where greedy corporates want money like American corporates but can't provide money to their employees like American corporates do.

There is one solution for this.... remove reservations. In any exam all r equal. Unreserved bale 10 ghate padhe aur ye certificate dikha ke naukri le gayain..

Most people who become IAS officers, their motive is to get famous, powerful and show off their success to society and get a luxurious life for themselves, mostly the women who become IAS do it just to show how intelligent, strong and independent they are. Their are very few IAS who take their job as a responsibility towards the nation and its people. Corruption is the main reason. Not just IAS, people having government job in any domain most rarely work in their jobs as they will easily get their salaries from taxpayers money. There is a reason why people shift their bank accounts from government bank to private bank. The main problem is society has put government jobs on pedestal and worship people who has the same
