There is no flying squad in Pune. There is barely any traffic police is most of the places. Unruly traffic with no one to control or care !

Nothing will happen to the boy and his father. It is normal practice in India. The father is rich & well connected and make the jurisdiction, police and public forget the case very fast. Don't you remember Mr Salman Khan episode!!
I recollect the new law for Drivers. Now will the Govt bring out law that is STRINGENT, that will punish the CORRUPT also in such cases

Up to the age of 25 licence will not be given to youth in such cases. But the law also says in one section of 10 years punishment

The super rich can bend the laws to suit themselves
people with money can do a lot but only until people of the country come together to make things happen. This case is a clear reflection that people are the mose powerful if they come together for a cause.
The driver should not be punished as he is also not responsible for anything this happened unfortunately the driver should get justice and not the people who were killed as these love birds should get a punishment and God punishes everyone
