Awesome demo, Patrick. \m/ I’m a long time gk player and it is one of the best bass amps I’ve ever use. This amp sounds awesome. And it definitely delivers thick punchy sounds. I also like hartke amps. I like those amps for its flexible punchy sounds. I’ve tried many different amps and out of all of them, I like gk and hartke the most.

Hey Patrick, a few years ago you posted a video about the pedals sitting on your pedalboard. I am curious now: after having tried so many pedals, how has your pedalboard changed? What pedals remain and which ones have been added? You could make an update on that video. Thanks man, great job.

Really like the tone out of this GK especially with the Sterling by Musicman once again. The way I like it, keep it simple, with a good head and a good bass! I used to play through a GK with a Spector Euro a while back and it sounded killer. It should interesting to try a Spector on this head as well I guess

I am currently bought the 1200s (open box deal) with a Spector p/j , Sansamp with the blend just broken open, and Genzler Bass Arrays. I find that I like both mids at 1 o’clock and that high mid toggled blue. I am comparing this to an old Eden WT amp and am on the fence about keeping it. There is a serious learning curve yet I keep getting closer to a tone I would play. The trim knob (over all gain) is tricky and Gallien has a video on how to set it correctly. It is designed to set it and forget it per each bass guitar you play. The overall tone sounds fuller through the cabs then DI into my pc recording software. And I like how it differs from the very clean Eden. I am playing at home with low volume and I get the feeling if I could crank it up the tone would really come alive however I don’t want to blast my neighbors just yet.
