Agree!! Sehun actually has a really nice and soothing voice for a rapper. it's just that EXO's main vocal line are really out of this world and SM flexes their powerful vocals all the time.. Good thing EXO-SC happened..we get to hear more of their singing voice. That's just proves how EXO's rapper line can still slay even without the main vocal line. So versatile artists. SM's so damn blessed to have EXO. Hope they'll promote this year's comeback properly tho

I watched his performance with this song on Mama, people were complaining he can't sing. Truth is, he was sick and drained that time. Those people should see this performance, Chanyeol did so well. And well Punch, what do you expect, she's the legend of OSTs. I guess Chanyeol's the most comfortable in singing with Punch. Their voice blends so well. The recorded version proves that, that's why maybe he's not really struggling in adjusting with her voice than the others he sang with. But all the other versions are really nice and good too. It's just the OG singers brings a different kind of feels.

I find it pretty rare for live stage performances to be as good as studio recordings (obviously), and I am usually disappointed by watching the live performances because I expect it to hear like the recordings I'm used to. However, I was not disappointed by Chanyeol, and I felt that his performance here really elevated Punch's, and by the end of it, they were really working and performing together. It was beautiful. Loved it.

Its good that you have high standards but some songs are just difficult to sing live so don't expect too much. Examples would be IU's high notes especially that 3 notes on good day(specialists even advised her to not do the high note too much since it can permanently damage her voice) , Yuju's high notes, the chorus of Inferiority Complex, Solji's high notes etc. I say it all the time that people shouldnt compare studio and live performances. There are a lot of factors that affect someone' s voice on live. Nerves, temperature of venue (yes this has big effect on live perfs), physical condition of the singer, technical problems and as I stated the difficulty of the song. Especially for idol groups, dont expect them to sing as good as in studio since they are not dancing on the studio and they are on live. Overall, I'm just saying its good to have standards but dontmake your standards too high. Its like food, if you are too picky, you might end up eating nothing.
