Tata is raising its standard and engineering. I am owning Punch petrol for last 2 years which is my first 4 wheeler as well, much satisfaction on driving and control. Mostly (70%) driven in hills, still better mileage of ~16kmpl after 24000 kms. Provides good mileage of 19 to 22kmpl in highways (based on individual driving style).

If brands focus on Hybrid cars with affordable price instead of EVs it will be game changer for Indian Automobile industry. The Hybrids makes more sense than EVs.

Use Eco mode & regen mode 3...then even if u use A/C, u will get 330 plus km range...

300km plus range with AC on, use Eco mode... without AC n gen 3, 300km plus...

They won't as of now , as their project EV is the immediate future and don't need a hybrid , and if they need a hybrid they need to outsource from jaguar , landrover if any.

Best example is kia ev6 costs you 70lakhs , one plus compared to budget models is , when you have a 700 arai mileage, then at 100-110 the car is giving you 300 in highways, so it can easily do another 300 with a fast charge , so as of now as primary vehicle a big no

If you have knowledge on how to use EV and has expertise in driving at constant 60-70kph in middle lane Punch itself can give 340-350 km per charge.

@@premkuamr6343 after driving at 100 average and 120 sometimes itself , google will tell you it takes 7-8 hours Between chennai to erode , so as of now budget evs are not for sprited driving , either give me mileage or good warranty, so that i will use as many dc fast charging as i like in the highways

Exter is a good option under 10L ... My friend using automatic variant top end city mileage 10-13.. Highway 17-19 after 1st service..... Both punch and exter slots in same pricing with some change in features.. main difference is 3 vs 4 cylinder.. do test drive both vechiles if ur going for manual variant... Avoid punch automatic

I have sort listed Exter, punch, ignis... Finally bought ignis for what it offers for 7.5L... avoided punch because of its 3 cylinder engine.. avoided Exter because of its sx variant pricing 9.5L ..for 9.5L + 1L more you can buy venue S or S(O) which is way better than both punch and exter

I think impact will be more on accidents because there isn't much in front of the driver, essentially empty area , just induction motor so impact could be more.

@@motowagon ,EV's doesn't have heavy engine bay area, and doesn't have fuel tank either, but it carries their extra bulk down low, giving them a low centre of gravity which could resist rollovers. I think it will behave like a conventional ladder on frame car's when it comes to an accident.

Personal choice is subjective Many liked the design of front and rear is left as it is in ICE version For me it looks great. So Tata focuses on what majority of population wants. This car is for masses. Not niche people like you.

For middle class or higher middle class people this is not the right time to buy electric vehicles do not rush and go for it. Wait for at least another 10 years let the fast charging infrastructure get developed and then you can probably think about it Because with electric vehicles imagine if you want to immediately go out on a ride or go out on an emergency it's not going to work the way you think it works with petrol and diesel you need to plan a lot accordingly and there could be several other situations where it will put you at in the middle of the road no facility to charge

Middle class here. If you have solar panel.. Own home Then for sure get this You can easily travel 150km radius to and fro with single charge 0.25 re per km for solar 1 re per km for on grid home eb connection 2.5 re per km for Public DC fast charger 33:58

Fit and finish is not good, Tata should focus on crafted quality. Long way to go...

No punch is worse since i am driving this for a month.. range only will get in Long range will be 270.. regen mode at 3 … dont go go for punch ev.. but riding comfort is awesome.. PICKup is awesome… only demerit is range..on full charge it will show 275km.. dont know why… and while driving you will get only 280🤣
