My friend doesn’t even bother with turnips. She has like half of her island turned into a pumpkin patch and waters them everyday to grow three at once and sells them for like 200k bells. It’s wild.

I have a small area of pumpkins that get me 300k each time I pick them. If you aren't one of those people who overrun their island with items and crowd them like crazy, pumpkins can go in those empty spots!

6:55 took this advice and I've become happier with playing AC. There's always someone way better than me at designing their island. My pumpkin patch takes like 1/6 of my island now but I'm earning a lot more. And we can always make the pumpkin patch look better with some furniture lol.

i found out that after you pick a pumpkin you can replant it just like the fruit trees and get more pumpkins instead of buying a bunch of starters.

Another thing I love about pumpkins, is that it takes less time than trees for pumpkins to grow, so the profit is much better

Apparently if you harvest your pumpkins on a rainy day, it will count as one day of watering your pumpkins. This is very helpful if you have a large pumpkin farm.

I think that green pumpkins are actually supposed to be the rarest with orange being most common. I don't recall anything about white or yellow ones currently.

Ik too impatient for turnips, so I instead invested 27,440 bells into buying pumpkin sprouts. What I get back every three days is 102,000 bells, so I would definitely say that pumpkins are worth your time and effort

Crafting the spooky tower, a tower of only orange pumpkins, does not change the price compared to selling the 7 pumpkins themselves. However this still ticks up the furniture DIY tally for nook challenges.

A hack I have to keep the shovel longer is when you dig a whole press y to use your fort to cover the whole so you can keep your shovel longer :)

Wow! I'm just returning to the game since over a year due to the update. This was a HUGE help!

Quick tip! Before the durability counter for watering cans deplete, customize the watering can (non golden) to a different color and the durability counter will reset, making the watering can like brand new!

You can plant pumpkins like you can plant flower seeds but you have to be holding the shovel to do so. So far in my testing process, planting a color variety gives you that same color. So if you really like the monochrome look you can plant white pumpkins and get more of them.

Ok unrelated to pumpkins, BUT I discovered that if you leave candy on the ground, eventually ants will swarm it MEANING you don't have to have a rotten turnip to get ants :^)

Once fruiting once and picking the pumpkin, it will automatically go to the medium pumpkin sprout instead of small pumpkin sprout! So there’s only one day in entwines harvest instead of two! Also if you have the color pumpkin that you want but want more of it, plant that color pumpkin instead of buying the starter from leaf! The plant will produce the same pumpkin color that you planted. Hope this helps, pumpkins are my income! Lmao

If you give a pumpkin to a villager, they will give you back an item from my experience, I’ve only used orange ones, but if your short on materials and have tons of pumpkins, this will help

I know everyone knows this, but, before you harvest your pumpkins, water them. It will get you a jump on the watering.

I didn't have to water my pumpkins at all because it rained...FOR 4 DAYS STRAIGHT

Or water your black roses making gold, and for 1k a pop, fill your island with gold roses. I have millions from only harvesting gold roses.

I make 4 mill every harvest because I literally filled my island with pumpkins but the watering is extremely tedious. Also adding time would add 2 to 3 times more profit since non native fruit takes 4 to 6 days to grow. Also on the profit for the spacing would only be 9 times if you only used a 3x3 grid. Its actually insanely complicated and I gave up on trying to figure out the equation but anything more than a 3x3 grid would be around 5 times the profit. Apparently if you go straight in a straight row of a 3x3 grid you gain more profit per pumpkin than if you squared it. For example a 3x9 grid is more profitable per space than a 5x5 grid both of which you could fit 4 trees. Wow my brain really hurts now.

You can plant a non native fruit tree around 8 pumpkins

I know this is a reupload, but it's still great (also kinda disappointed you cant plant pinecones for new cedar trees and vice versa for acorns and hardwood trees) [also still gonna say it, diving creatures and gold rose wreaths are best ways to earn bells]

I’m so glad we can finally farm in AC. These pumpkins are great money makers. More reliable than the stalk market. 👌🏻 Only thing is, I don’t think Leif is selling the pumpkin sprouts. I got him in my town in November and he wasn’t selling them. :(

Figure out your Weather pattern and then time travel to a time when it rains 3 days in a row, then go back when you pick them all. You'll get 3 pumpkins per plant every single time, and you never need to waste your water cans and time watering 👍

You wouldn’t believe how many ppl are Shocked by the planting pumpkins thing... I frequent the Nookazon server, and am Consistently telling everyone about this so they don’t get upcharged by other players OR the Nook boys into buying unnecessary starters or plants. You can just plant the pumpkins !! They’ll grow into whatever colour you plant !! Life hacks.

I just started New Horizons, and I'm upset that I missed all this. This is the gourd stuff...

I feel like an idiot now since I'm a huge pumpkin fan and I've never planted one.....
