Pulsar The Strands of Future 1976 Remaster
The Strands of the Future is the second album by French progressive rock band Pulsar. Wikipedia
Artist: Pulsar
Release date: September 21, 1976
Label: Kingdom Records
Genre: Space rock
I have remastered this album to today's standard, giving it more punch, a wider frequency range, and a better stereo. A complex mix of modern tools were used to get to this result.
There are some white noise when the sound is low... it is from the original I got, and cannot be removed without altering the sound drastically. So I decided to keep these.
I hope that you will enjoy and share this great progressive rock album from a French group.

We need to continue saving music like this.
I spent half of my life with pulsar albums...specially this one
1969 - 1976 the high time of prog rock. This is one of the pearls.
I saw them live in 77 in Cascais, Portugal. They performed themes of Pollen, The strands of the future and Halloween. Until today I still don't own Halloween. Their show was great, although the sound did not match that of the studio albums, but that was and still is normal. They were all accomplished performers. It was a wonderful show!

Just incredible. One of my very favorite albums I’ve come across this year. Planets by Eloy is another discovery. Also very space-rocky.
A gift from the algorithms!!
Excellent music, remember good epoca
Thanks Prog Master.A gem.
I love this album.. Truly one of the best progressive albums ever released anywhere.
Enzo57Italy
This is wonderful and enchanted.
I love this combination of acoustic, electric, synth and vocal
Thanks for the remaster, one of the greatest albums of all time.
Bravissimi!
I've been looking for this album for years!
Gracie, thank's, gracias, D-Arigato.
Can’t believe this passed me by, it sounds like parts of it inspired Ulver’s Kveldensanger, a favourite of mine. Amazing.
I m glad i find and hearing this Diamond Album...King Crimson.Classic music..Eloy.Floyd...Crimson Glory riffs..Theres no parthenogenesis original in music...Neither standarts not even coincidences....There is the mind the body and soul..The voice the feelings!!...Experiences.A big thanks to the uploader for his ''work''.And the artists who shared their soul with us.This has been written in history of music universal and beyond that too!!

1rst time I listen to Pulsar though I am a prog rock fan. Awesome album. Thanks for sharing this masterpiece!
This is a truly stunning piece of music. I had the vinyl in 76 and it went on walkabout with one of my pals. Thank you so much for sharing it. I have missed it and it still sounds magnificent to these ears. Deserves to be reissued but this remaster is excellent. Thank you.

You better be getting paid for this because the sound is phenomenal, comparatively to the same I’ve heard before I had to turn the volume down started hearing sounds I never heard before. I looked this up for nostalgia and found a gem. 🙏 Thank you.
Obra maestra. Espectacular! Siniestra!! 🥂
This is fantastic!!! Wizard music!!!
Maravilloso...incrivel....muito bom.....gratidao
An awesome album. I've got the reissue of this and Halloween from the Museo label back in the nineties. However, this remaster is absolutely remarkable. Thanks for sharing this. Lots of great French Prog from this time. Ange, Carpe Deum, Arachnoid, to name a few. A French band in the nineties called Halloween (check out their album, Merlin) was heavily influenced by Pulsar.

Great Album! Especially the 2nd side is awesome. This and "Halloween".
Very nice, haunting and mesmerising. And such a great rendering, thanks so much!
Hey this is truly Good stuff. I hear touches of gong as well as Floyd . Great cover as well.
Eu de novo ouvindo está obra prima .......
A great one!
I recently bought a reissue on vinyl. Incredible discovering! thanks for to post this album.
Wow! Great sounding album and I'm damn surprised I haven't run across it before. Just makes me wonder how much other great 70s prog is out there that just wasn't appreciated so much back in the 70s. As much as KZread sucks for torturing you with ads, offering a venue like this for finding great, semi-forgotten music almost makes it worth it.

Do you know the band Eloy? I've just found them on youtube and they're also great. Try also the album Escenes by the spanish band Gotic, very unknown.

This is the real deal prog! My humble opinion.
Wow! This brought back a few memories. Bought this one and ‘Pollen’, from Lotus Records. A very good prog-rock band, and thanks for the upload👍
...Tangerine Dream...brother.
Great pick! Never herad, but dig it a lot. Amazing symph/space/prog stuff! Will check the other albums. Greetings from Brazil!
Que genialidad, saludos🇦🇷
You've done a WONDERFUL job remastering this music. I bought the album back in the late 1970's as a total 'blind buy' from the 'Imports' section of my favorite large record store. I had never heard of the band , nobody recommended (or knew them) to me, I just saw the cover and decided i had to hear this. It was probably the first album I ever bought made by French musicians to boot. The outside and inside album cover artwork suits the music-even makes it all seem weirder than it actually is if fact. Information on what the bands musicians have been doing is pretty much nowhere to be found on the internet, at least not in English and i've always wondered what the bands musicians are up to.

What a dream

No, I think now is about right, from the point of view that if you were there, as I was, you would never have heard the more obscure bands that are being discovered and played on KZread today, and more yet to be discovered I would guess :-)) Happy New Year from Wales. You could try other French bands of the same period, although they are more vocal than this album. Try Sandrose- same, sung in English, and Atmosphera- Lady of Shallot ( from israel ) sung in English too.

First listen. I like it, but like a lot of Prog music there isn't any repeat of a pleasing melody which I think should be an integral part of any great song. I also find the art work disturbing, too dark for my tastes
