Our journey into wild/feral hog hunting started like many others living in rural communities. We didn't start hog hunting for fun or sport... we did it because we had to. You see, hogs cause millions of dollars of damage and destruction each year in rural communities and our situation was no different. Hogs were destroying our land and that out of friends and family. The vast majority of hunting stories that you hear about on this channel are hogs, boars and sows, taken from family land... this problem is personal for us...

*** Why Hunt Coyotes and Predators? ***
Coyotes and Predators, similar to hogs, cause financial stress for many families in rural communities. Coyotes kill livestock, plain and simple. Ranchers have battled coyotes killing cattle since the early days of ranching and it costs them dearly. Cattle ranching is a business, the cows aren't pets, every time they lose a calf to a coyote those families lose a paycheck. Cattle ranchers hate coyotes just as much as Farmers hate hogs! We hunt coyotes to protect the livelihood of our friends and neighbors that depend on their cattle business to feed their family...

Is there a way to put this model on a tripod also thank you for the video always helpful
I had the opportunity to look through the XP 50 model and I was quite impressed by the quality and the clarity of this unit. Someday 🤞🏻

Hey Hans have you testet the Hikmicro Falcon FQ50 or the Condor CQ50L vs the Telos ? great show by the way
I just found out there are actually 8 versions of the Telos! Including Telos versions of the XQ35, XG35, and XG50. Any idea when these other ones are coming out?
Does the telos have a way of attaching to tripod or to thread a D loop in to attach a lanyard.

The non LRF model will mount to a tripod 👍🏻

As Hans commented , yes the non LRF has the threaded hole to do that. The LRF version uses the hole to attach the LRF, but the owners manual shows an attachment to use on a tripod. But so far have not seen that part available for sale yet.

@@fowllab I sure hope you’re right, i just got the XP50 with the LRF, it would be nice to be able to mount it.
How reliable are these models? I got one off Amazon today. And have flashing red lights when i plug in the battery with the provided charger (using the usb-c mode). Left it charging overnight and no dice. Y'all run into this issue with the XP50s?

My Helion XP38 died and I purchased the Telos LRF. Man the image is definitely an upgrade compared to the original Helion.

Your awesome. Got another question. My daughters have go bags. I need a thermal or nvg monocular for there go bag. Nothing to expensive but effective. Say 100 yards of seeing a threat before they are seen. Thx
