These upgrades sound nice. I prefer lighter clicks, and having optical switches is nice, not having to worry about double clicks. I'm also a stickler for the texture of the mouse surface coating. Definitely want to stay away from ones that feel like ABS plastic keycaps that are slippery and develop a shine.

as much as I love my X2, the coating is definitely not my favorite. Corepad grips really help though

The scroll wheel seems to be lacking the standard corrugated texture to make way for the engraving, which looks dope, but does this have any effect on its grip in use?

I would buy it, but after 3 of my X2's having all sorts of issues, im over Pulsar and their lies Hopefully they fix it down the line

Yeh the QC has definitely not been up to par with the X2's

Tried pulaar x2 its top tier but yea the qc issues… but the da v3 in my opinion is the best mouse of 2022. Consistent with da v3 just like the superlight in aiming.

I just ordered this one and will probably get the v3 aswell when it drops. Unsure if i should just leave it in the box untouched and sell it to someone in the future when Pulsar is a legacy brand

i 100% consider opticals an upgrade, every mouse i’ve owned ends up double clicking to a point where i end up with 8+ms debounce and i prefer the typical light click feel of opticals aswell

yeah especially with pulsar, literally every single wireless pulsar that I've owned ended up double clicking completely killing their brand for me. Optical switches fixes that massive pain point for me so I might be willing to give them a go again.

@@hampustornros Its not their fault, they buy the switches from the same manufacturer as other mouse companies. If its not optical, at some point there will be double clicking issues. I went through 3 G PRO superlights and logitech is still not updating their mice.

@@JagsP95 I've had Logitech G Pro and the Superlight and neither double clicked for me. 3 Pulsar mice did within just a week. Not the same thing at all.

Are you doing review for the Bruce Lee Edition mousepad?

Is the Batterie life comparable to the g pro x, or do u noticed some bad performance?

Just ordered the x2 FE yesterday, now I just sent an email to see if they can switch the FE with the BLE Mini. Together with the updated Artisan Raiden I’d really enjoy this. Trying not to get my hopes up for the possible switch in my order but it’s worth a try.

@@hausgaming 2 weeks ago I got a black x2 mini, which I am returning because I ordered the Bruce Lee version and now pulsar announced a whole new mouse lineup. I do not know if I should just cancel the order for the bruce lee mouse and wait for the new ones since I care more about the perfomance and feel rather than the aesthetics

Unrelated but I'm currently in a dilemma, I'm choosing between deathadder v3 and the superlight, 18x10cm hands and i prefer ergos but the deathadder v3 is a little large, it's comfortable so far but would I be hindering my aim in any way by picking a larger mouse, or will it not matter as long as it's comfortable? thanks

you are probably the best person in this situation to judge, i feel like you can answer this question based on how confident you feel performing in game If you are not confident taking some fights in specific situations or you are having trouble making small adjustments id say the shape can be better. if you have no issues with confidence then the shape is fine for you

Pulsar revealed its next mouse lineups. Given we don't know when they'll be released or how those will actually perform, would you still recommend buying the bruce lee edition? I bought the bruce lee edition but my order was not shipped yet so I am thinking about canceling it. The only reason I ordered this mouse are the improvements on the coating and on the switches, I am not a bruce lee fan at all, although I admit the aesthetics are really nice, particularly the symbols on the scroll wheel. What's your opinion about the announced changes, are they worth "the hype"? Would you suggest keeping this model for a non-bruce lee fan or to just wait and see?

I don't like to comment too much on things I haven't tested, so I can't say much about the 2023 Pulsar lineup! I personally think the X2 Bruce Lee price is a bit much if you don't use the glass feet, however if you are going to test them, I'd personally get the BL instead of the original X2! So the upgrades are worth it in this sense.

Indeed, especially the coating. I heard rumors that the shell construction has been changed as well, but I'll confirm that once I get the pcb spec and LDAT it at the same time

I wish the main color was black with the yellow stripe, it's a little loud for my setup.

Highly doubt I'll be able to find the clip on optical switches where I am. It'll much easier for me to find the typical mechanical ones. Also I appreciate your mouse tear downs in your reviews. I didn't realize it before I saw the reddit threads. Now comparing the X2 Mini original vs the Bruce Lee, I can feel the slight difference in weight. But I'd still MUCH rather get the Bruce Lee. I'd prolly wait to see if there are still some quality concerns though.

@@lnbabz Ahh you mean the idle delay, it's not a CompX MCU sleep setting. I've talked about this in a couple of videos already, but the early error with Pulsar was caused by the sleep mode -> mouse basically shut down after 5 seconds and you got that insane +13ms idle delay. Now the click latency after 5s is 8ms, which isn't bad anymore. Pulsar already had even this fixed (I tested beta firmware), but I suspect the battery life hit was large, so I did not see this firmware ever get released. The issue is blown out of proportion. What I like to do is make companies aware of issues they have, and make them look for a solution. This time the issue is so minor and the use case is extremely rare, that I would even recommend them to KEEP the idle delay if the solution would decrease battery life by a decent margin. I obviously would rather not have any idle delay, but I also love a good battery life on my 1khz wireless mice.

And I can't believe how fast it came, it was like 5 days from the time I purchased til it was delivered from Korea to the US.

The battery life is good, if you set the auto sleep to very high, you will get a battery life it. I recommend 10 seconds

idk I can still hear the same hollow shell click sound out of the bluce lee one as the one x2 medium I had from the very first batch. sounds just as bad imo. Has to be the whole shell design, kinda cheap feeling. also.. if they can't get the acctuation force lighter on the far back of the buttons then the mouse is just dead to me forever. I mean it's meant to be a claw grip shape, full blown claw, where your fingers sit much much further back on the clicks but that's where the clicks feel the worst and actually pretty much unusable. Just kills the point of this whole mouse imo and any other grip on it feels not that good. for other grips there are definitely better options out there then

Yeh, if you click the buttons from far back, they are still heavy. But claw grip does not mean that you have to hold your fingers far back.

The other variants that have not dropped yet seem to be getting different switches. boardyz is getting Huano Blue Shell Pink Dot for example. Its hard to say if the opticals will be better or not. But they should remove double clicking. It kinda sucks its a limited edition loud color way as yellow and black porbably don't go with most peoples setups
