The best version ever. Carrie Fletcher was amazing, but I didn't get that pure raw talent that Krysta has-- Carrie's was more of a professional, glossed over, but still freaking amazing tone. Krysta completely embodies Wednesday. I'm doing this song for an audition-- wish me luck!

But Carrie hasn't played her yet?? How can you judge whether she's good in the role if she is only right now rehearsing and maybe hasn't found all of Wednesday yet. I think you can't really judge 100% accurately if you simply don't see both of them in the same position. Also, I in no way intended to be rude or anything. I just think you should give her a proper shot

Man, this is amazing. While watching this I could only think “Holy crap that woman is crazy” because of her facial expressions and corporal positions. Heck, even her voice alone makes you understand what Wednesday is passing through: A man that is changing everything she has ever believed in. Krysta Rodríguez is goals. I’m playing Wednesday is my school production and I can only hope to do as awesome as she did. Also, what the hell Pugsley is your throat okay

Carrie is great but Krysta's acting really shows a visual transformation that is needed for this song to be pulled off and she does it with ease!

I recently went to see the UK Tour, it was so good! Carrie Hope Fletcher was a BRILLIANT Wednesday, she and Krysta share a lot of things in common with facial expressions, the way the hold themselves and singing range but both performances are so wonderful in their own special way, but I have to say the UK tour will always be MY Addams Family because it was the first time seeing the musical live and it's just...anyone in the UK PLEASE LOOK UP THE REMAINING TOUR DATES!! And go see this wonderful show it's PHENOMENAL!!

Dude, it's not the mixing. She's singing live. The belting and the notes are still her. All mixing can do in live theatre is boost the right sounds at the right time. Those sounds are still down to the actors and musicians.

Do you know what mixing Is?? It’s a technique used to belt. Krysta has a great mix which let’s her be able to belt in her upper range with ease. All broadway stars use their mix when belting high.

Had never heard of it, outside of audio engineering, actually. I've heard of belting with your head voice, but never had heard it referred to as 'mixing'.

I am obsessed with this song, whilst she's singing this is looks like she's gradually getting possessed, but it's brilliant non-the-less

Just saw this yesterday. It was my first broadway play i saw and my birthday a very good day. I loved it her voice is just fanominal.

Krysta has become one of my new favorite belting actresses, especially since I auditioned for this show a few summers ago, didn't make that one, then just recently did First Date, and loved her as Casey! She is amazing!

I love the Adams Family!

I recently watched the UK cast and am now seeing SO MANY CONTRASTS TO THE BROADWAY VERSION!! In this scene, Wednesday says how she wanted to meet Lucas "somewhere safe" but her mothers making them come to their house and play THE GAME, in the UK it's Wednesday's idea to bring the family to her house and then her mother mentions THE GAME and when she snaps the neck of the bird and says "don't grow up Puglsey, it's not worth it!" in the UK version she says "fly away little birdy!" and during some of the songs the lyrics and dialogue have changed to suit a British audience (seeing as British people won't really know what "chia pets" are the line was changed to pirouettes) also the choreography has changed slightly etc etc, both version are amazing, phenomenal and spectacularly funny!

First version I have heard and it's still the best for me. Plus, Krysta is so beautiful.

I believe in you! You were casted for a reason. Just be careful not to hurt yourself and speak up if something hurts! I feel you, I'm a mezzo soprano but I usually play alto parts so it's really hard to get casted as something new. Break a leg!!

I seriously need help, I’ve watched this at LEAST 36 times in the last two days. Krysta has the most unique voice and I’m absolutely obsessed!! Wednesday is one of my dream roles but I know that I’ll never be able to belt like her! Also, I prefer this version (Chicago tryout) over the Broadway version, thoughts?
