To make homemade smoke grenades: BUY SMOKE GRENADE PELLETS FROM THE INTERNET..... Ten-four. Guess i'm the stupid one for thinking he was gonna teach us how to make a mixture that would yield colored smoke. Good ignition system though. For a triple or quadruple redundancy ignition system, try folding the striker cardboard into a triangle or square shape. (using a small straight edge, such as the spine of your Exacto knife can help with small, precision folds) Then just affix a match (or two) along each side of the striker faces. i would love to see few methods for making this long-term and weather resistant. It seems like dripping a thin layer of hot wax over the finished ignition mechanism would be the cheapest and easiest method, as hot glue or duck tape would likely interfere with the triggering process. Cool videos, mate!

Thanks Schel. Those smoke pellets are really cheap in the UK, just over a dollar a pop, which makes for cheap fun. Looking forward to your next video, keep em coming.

I could use that tripwire system for my fireworks shows quite well I always burn my self if I run out of fuel in my main lighter and use the backup (a cigarette lighter from a gas station)

Use a propane torch, you won't get burnt and it lasts a lot longer. Get one with the trigger igniter though.

mr. stitch smoke bombs are nearly impossible to make yourself, you’ll find some tutorials saying to use wax crayons but they don’t work. You’ll need smoke pellets or industrial grade smoke stuff

Depends on the quality of the smoke pellet and how well you wrap them in cardboard and aluminum foil. I made some you could hold yes, but its not really a great idea incase of a mistake or accident.
