Blackpink is a girl group and their song DDU-DU DDU-DU was remixed by Chan and Versachoi (a producer friend of his) with God's menu, that's why the title is God's DDU-DU DDU-DU. The rap verses are exclusive to this performance and were written by 3racha. They did a great job with the songs and created a completely new thing in this performance. There's also a lot of marvel references here, mainly to Deadpool, and Ryan Reynolds himself commented on it and is now friends with Stray Kids because of this performance lol As usual thank you for the reaction, I appreciate your enthusiasm

That was on a competition called "Kingdom: Legendary War" with 6 trending K-pop boy groups: BtoB, IKon, SF9, Ateez, The Boyz and Stray Kids. In this round Stray Kids made a remix of their song God's Menu and Blackpink's song "DDU-DU DDU-DU" (Blackpink is famous girl group)

fun fact: Ryan Reynolds even saw this and stray kids now might potentially be part of the soundtrack for deadpool 3

this song was made for "no limit" round in the competition called KINGDOM with they ended winning. it's a remix of stray kids song god's menu and blackpink (k-pop girl group) ddu-du-ddu-du. 3racha re-wrote rap and bangchan did the mashup. they kept the key details of the original song and also the choreography.

really loving all your reactions, dont let the negative comments get to you too much i saw how they affected you in one of your other videos and just know that the majority of people have gone through getting introduced to kpop without the fans commenting on their every mistake whereas you have had everything corrected in a pretty harsh way(as the fans can be). so most of us are on your side and totally understand how you react and feel with prejudices and bias's and all that stuff. sending lots of support and positive vibes and keep making these wonderful videos!

I really appreciate it 🙏🏼 it’s all very very confusing for me, all I’ve listened to my entire life has been hiphop and rap 😩😂 Since making this channel I’ve explored more music in 5 months than I have my entire 28 years of being a live _almost_ human 😂 I’m not someone that would ever let negative comments affect me too much, I just generally don’t like seeing people be rude in life so it bothers me 😩😂 With awesome people like you helping me though it’s a lot easier to block out the bad, so thank you for being such a great person ❤️

This performance stage concept was actually based on Dead-pool if you didn't catch that (Felix is holding the mask at the start - also the double swords and truck prop). And spoiler - Ryan Reynolds saw this performance and SKZ became friends w him through his reaction. Ryan sent Chan a signed bottle of gin and Chan gave him a pack of SKZ stuff. Crossover you'd never expect. I dunno I live for this stuff. And yes it is pretty incredible that K-pop tv shows give such a platform for artists - I concur on that statement. KINGDOM is pretty amazing, everyone serves absolute fire - not one crumb is left. Plus they all be hyping each other up. The best shit. Also, if you want more crazy SKZ performance content (other than KINGDOM - srsly check out the rest ur mind will explode), their MAMA performances (kinda like Grammys but way better) are amazing. Jus sayin. The Kpop music industry are so interconnected and have many friendships across these talented groups that are so amazing so they often remix their own songs with other's for performances, sometimes preforming them together. These performances just gets your blood pumping srsly - cannot deal w that shit 🔥 ANYWAYS appreciate you bruv - you've come into this stray kids scene with such an open mind and truely seen these kids for who they are. As others commented already, the original song is by Blackpink, and the remix was done by SKZ into something all their own; and you're right, they did a bloody fabulous job of it. 😊😊 You may want to listen to the original once, then this one again as comparison.

performance had such an impact that artists like Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) and the DJ Zedd reacted and became fans of Stray Kids, to the point that now they are very close, best friends, without a doubt, it is a good presentation, it is worthy of appearing in a Grammys!!!

"Words are gone, I think it was Felix's six-pack" is a complete vibe. Thanks for enjoying this as much as you clearly did! The show was spectacular, they do all that stuff in ONE TAKE with multiple cameras all over the stage and intricate movements and such. Interestingly, that subway interior is inside the truck on the stage. It opens into a v-shape for the subway shots, then closes with a front part to create the van. That show was literally chock full of amazing performances. I'd very highly recommend the Mayfly and It's One rap stages. They're written by members of the 6 groups who competed in the show, divided into two teams. Highly recommended. Yes, it was for a tv show. It was their performance during the No Limits round of a competition show called Kingdom, where they were competing against five other groups for several months. This performance was not only epic, but also, since it was a competition, it's one shot. This entire thing was one continuous shoot and performance, no breaks, no resets. This is literally a live performance, no tricks or second chances.

I don't know if someone has recommended it to you yet but you should check Just Breathe, it's a collaboration between 3RACHA and SKY-HI (a japanese artist) and it's fire, I think you'll enjoy it

Kingdom Legendary War was a hell of a competition show. I'm also a big fan of Ateez, Stray Kids' juniors in the show, and they were short changed by the show itself but they put on INCREDIBLE stages too if you want to see some cool choreo. Note: Stray Kids and Ateez we're both short one member during this competition show. Hyunjin of SKZ was put on hiatus by their company and Mingi of Ateez was out for mental health reasons. When possible, check out the versions of some of these songs (Wolfgang for Stray Kids, The Real for Ateez) after the competition when both groups are back to full 8 members.

So, I'm going to guess you now know a bit about the show they were on, the comments are full of people explaining it after all. But, a performance I think you would like from it is 'Playing with Paint' by mayfly. In the show one of the challenges they did was combining several different groups, and do performances as different units. 'Playing with Paint' was the rap units performance, and it's really good. The other units were vocal and dance, and the groups working with stray kids was Ateez and BOTB

I recommend a couple other performances. They don't have captions, so I included the lyric videos for them, but the performances are so good, I really recommend watching the performances. The first is the Mayfly Rap Unit's performance during the Kingdom show in 2021. Mayfly is the name for the units created on Kingdom consisting of members from Stray Kids, ATEEZ, and BTOB. They created 3 units for a challenge one week. One unit was Vocals, another was Dance, and the third was Rap. The Rap unit included Bang Chan, Changbin, HAN (Stray Kids), Hangjoon (ATEEZ), and Minhyuk (BTOB). They came together to write a new rap and performed it on the show. This is from the competition show Kingdom: Legendary War, with five other groups competing, there are a lot of good performances from that. For fun, you could also check out the behind the scenes/rehearsal videos, the stage is huge and the tech support is amazing. I also recommend Skz performances of Side Effects/God's Menu mashup and their cover of I'll Be Your Man, from this same show. In the cover, they turned a love a love song from a group known for its sweet vocals, into an anthem for storming hell. It has a really cool rap-over-vocals bit. You might also be interested in the two performances where the six groups melded into two super groups (Mayfly and It's One) which then divided into two rap teams, two dance teams and two vocal teams. Mayfly had 3Racha and two other really good rappers, and It's One had Bobby, who many consider the best Korean rapper, with two others. If you want a sense of the lyrics, you need to look at a lyrics video, except for Chan's rap in Aussie English.

The entire "Kingdom: Legendary War" competition was incredible. All of the full performances were amazing (not just by Stray Kids, but all of the groups). All of the groups were already established acts. There was a previous season called "Road to Kingdom" with a different set of groups. All of the performances were based on challenges by the judges - such as performing and rearranging another act's song etc. Not to be confused with the kpop group called "Kingdom," which is unrelated to the competition.

so, for context. this is part of a survival show called Kingdom where 6 established kpop boy groups competed, SKZ ended up winning. the point system is kinda complicaded but they KILLED it. this week in the competition the theme was "anything goes", there were themes each week like covering another group's song etc. so they did a mash up of the GIRL GROUP Blackpink's hit song DDU-DU DDU-DU and their song God's Menu with added bars/production. the whole show was incredible and if you can watch it I highly recommend it
