Funny you say that. I remember friends commenting on my one of my pugs, saying “it’s like you have a little person walking around your house.”. Literally every pug I’ve met was a character.

@@BrocuzgodlocdunfamdogsonOh yes. They are complete characters. One of my pugs is also the most human dog I’ve ever had. And I’ve had A LOT of dogs in my time, as I’ve fostered for rescues. Pugs are the little clowns of the dog world.

I luv the facial expressions! The purring is her breathing.

I have pugs as well and I think they're great dogs. their uniqueness is what makes them special they have great personalities. Are very comical dogs much like a French Bulldog. To me they are more like little children than dogs

Theyre unique bc theyre inbred to have flat faces and health issues. Millions are killed and suffer miserable lives bc they have defects from mating parents with kids and siblings mating together. Its only getting worse as the demand goes up. Have you noticed its gotten more expensive to buy a pug? Thats bc breeders inbreed them and charge more for the flat wrinkled face youre obsessed with. But it causes millions to suffer and die. The pug breed wont be around for long. They already have numerous health issues and it will continue to worsen with inbreeding. Vets dont say anything either bc pugs are a gold mine. It costs tens of thousands of dollars in vet treatments for the life of the avg pug.

The consequences of inbreeding for their specific appearance have become detrimental to their overall health. Breeders kill the pups that dont posess desirable traits and many pups live excruciatingly painful lives with many disorders and disease, some hardly can function. To understand the impacts more, the study looked at 4,308 pugs and 21,835 dogs of other breeds in the U.K., comparing their health profiles and odds of developing 40 common disorders The study found that pugs had an increased risk for 23 disorders, including being 54 times more likely to have brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome, 51 times more likely to have narrowed nostrils, 11 times more likely to have skin fold infections. In addition, 17.4% of the pugs were obese, compared to just 6.9% of other dogs. Not many will speak out because its bad for business. Its designed for breeders to charge top dollar for the cutest pug and veterinarians arent going to speak up because they make a killing on pug visits because their health issues. Every pug you buy from a breeder promotes the suffering and death of thousands of pugs

@@carpe_poon5761 I don't give a damn about your study I've had a pug for 11 years and he's the best dog I've ever had and that's a fact. No one I ever bought a pug from practices the practices that you mentioned. I have papers and I know my dogs are not inbred so have a nice day👍

Beautiful Animals And Funny Pugs Are My Favourite Dog Used To Have One But Unfortunately Had To Put Her Down She Was 16 Years Old She's Been Gone About 1/ 1/2Yrs I Still Haven't Got Over Her Yet And Probably Won't She Still Means Alot To Me And Always Will I Think About Her 24/7 And Even Talk To Her Pictures I Got About 15 Pictures Of Her In My Wallet

I got one just like that still a puppy 9 months old but they are amazing dogs! Super smart pick up a trick like nothing. Mine does all kinds of crap from running next door to her mamas house to giving paw to walking on two legs to howling on command! And she is the sweetest thing when she is being calm and just laying around! She will rub her little eyes first thing in the morning with her paws it’s the cutest thing I ever seen.

Ours won’t be brushed or combed but loves the hand held Dyson every time it comes out wants to be hoovered bless him💕💕

Pugs are known as the Clown dogs.

Get her a harness. Collars are not safe for small dogs. They may cause spine damage and make breathing more difficult. Flat faced dogs have difficult time breathing as is, how would you like to be pulled by and choked by the collar every day?!!!
